Job Scope:

The main duties of a travel consultant are to service corporate customers by organizing their travels, including but not limited to planning travel itineraries and booking of flights, rail & car rental, hotel accommodation, travel insurance and visa & health advisory.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent geographical knowledge of countries and major cities.
• Working knowledge of GDS Sabre system.
• To preform flight reservation, Ad-hoc/group booking and ticketing.
• Handle business travel requests, including air, hotel, car and rail enquiries via phone and email professionally.
• Understand clients’ travel requirements and propose suitable itineraries at competitive prices.
• To provide information on visa requirements and assist with applications in a timely manner.
• Ensure all travel documentation, including quotations, ticket issuance and billings are processed accurately.
• To maintain and update corporate client’s profile in the system.
• Carry out regular sales call to handle and manage existing customers’ accounts.
• To build and sustain excellent working relationships with clients through outstanding customer service and support.
• To be accessible to customers' enquiries 24/7 on a weekly rotational basis
• After-sales tasks on schedule change, rebook, reroute, re-issue & refund.
• Flight inventory monitor and control including advance booking checks, ticketing deadline checks & dummy booking screening.
• Respond to travel agents', travellers' and FFP members’ inquiries on respective GSA products, rules & policies.
• To support and ensure smooth SOPs and operations set by airlines.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications:

-Minimum GCE “N/O” Level or equivalent

-Atleast 1-2 years’ experience in handling travel arrangements for corporate accounts.

-IATA/UFTAA Foundation EBT Course (Diploma)
