• The qualified drivers shall be responsible for the collection of cadavers upon activation by the Authority. They shall also meet the activation response time for the collection of cadavers as set by the Authority.
• At the start of every shift, the qualified drivers shall report to an officer appointed by the Authority. The qualified drivers shall also conduct pre-shift checks on the vehicle and any equipment provide by the Authority to ensure that all are in order and there is sufficient equipment to last throughout the shift. Any issues shall be flagged up to the officer appointed by the Authority promptly.
• The qualified drivers shall report and be stationed at a designated location as specified by the Authority, and be on standby to operate the Police vehicle upon activation by the Authority. The qualified drivers shall pick up the undertakers from a location directed by the Authority within 30 minutes of activation, before proceeding to a scene or hospital upon activation by the Authority. No unauthorised persons shall travel on the vehicle unless there is prior approval from the Authority.
• The qualified drivers shall ensure that the body bags are properly sealed prior to departure from a scene or hospital to the location directed by the Authority. Any lapses detected shall be reported to the on-duty officers promptly. The qualified drivers shall ensure that the cadavers collected are subsequently transported untampered to the location directed by the Authority, before a pre-determined timing daily.
• The integrity and evidential value of the cadaver shall be maintained and due care shall be exercised to prevent tampering or damage to the cadaver while the vehicle is in motion.
• The transport shall be based on stipulated guidelines from the Police and be adhered to.

Qualification

• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents;
• Able to understand, communicate and write in English;
• Minimum two years of driving experience with no more than 12 demerit points accumulated in the past one year;
• Preferably with experience in transportation for enforcement or security agencies; and
• Possess a valid Class 4 driving license.

Description:

• The assigned worker is responsible for safely transporting company staff as well as goods to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assist with loading and offloading of goods.
• Plan and adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Promptly informing his Supervisor of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Ensure that the company vehicle is always parked at permitted parking area.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings. Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management. Any other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Valid Driver’s Licence Class 3
• Clean driving record
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations

• Abel to utilize maps, GPS systems and car manuals
