Leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects. Manages corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems. Responsible for business as well as team management. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the portfolio and project management environment based upon Policies, Standards, Customer Engagement Roadmap and Global Method. May perform responsibilities as a member of an Engagement Program Management Office (EPMO) or as a business unit leader

Responsibilities:

• Independently identifies solutions to common and complex issues and drives complex projects or modules of large complex programs within the domains of operations, supply chain management and logistics.
• Acts as a peer leader on a cross functional project team.
• Owns decision-making within projects and contributes to digital solutions to managers.
• Acts as a resource to other business units for issues on digital transformation.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Mathematics / Statistics, etc.)
• A minimum of 7 years of business experience with at least 5 years of Supply Chain, IT, or relevant functional experience is required; Candidates with a good understanding of supply chain ERP /MES/ planning systems are preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or operations role in industry consulting related to the above domains; Alternately candidates with transformation experience in the above domains are also welcome to apply
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects/modules from design to implementation, with a capability to work independently

Required Skills:

• Critical thinking, with outstanding analytical, stakeholder influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Understanding and experience in requirements understanding, definition, and prototyping of products and platforms is required
• Experience with Agile product development methodology and tools is preferred
• Comfort with constructively challenging existing processes and working on improving processes and outcomes
• Growth mindset with ability to work with a diverse and global team
• Preferred skills:
• Operations experience in a manufacturing or management of contract manufacturing environment
• Digital product management experience in building digital products and platforms or intelligent process automation solutions including but not limited to applications in advanced analytics, business intelligence, and blockchain / distributed ledger in supply chains
• Understanding of leading technologies in the field of supply chain analytics and transformation :
• Working experience on basic analytics tools and languages including advanced excel skills

Job Description:

Global Operations prioritizes putting customers and partners first by developing the workforce of the future. This involves strategic, inclusive, and collaborative working culture. Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating demand/supply management, business processes and/or manufacturing/delivery of products and services to the company policy and country regulatory requirements. Partners with stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities for business process improvement to effectively manage costs, integrate new and existing businesses, and adapt to changes in the business and regulatory environment. Time horizon is typically focused on less than six months for forecasting/planning. Leading and working with cross-functional teams, creates and implements plans that enable the execution of business strategies. Participates in the process by which demand signals are developed, validated for alignment with transition plans, supply constraints identified, and an executable plan defined that meets financial and market share goals. Scope includes business execution processes related to lifecycle planning; order management (including allocation management, Available to Promise (ATP) / commit processes, business attainment tracking); logistics management (including inbound/outbound coordination and consolidation of domestic and international systems to support shipments); and inventory management (including analysis, optimization and velocity). Partners cross-functionally to develop, track and manage business metrics for the organization (may include customer availability, service levels, on-time delivery, supplier response time (SRTs), supply chain costs and inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Manages a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis and planning, demand management, logistics management, and import/export operations typically with a large or complex global business unit.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.
• Independently executes the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
• Drives backlog management.
• Gathers demand data from country, region and account managers to synthesize information using complex analyses, and delivers demand signals to the supply base to contribute to demand forecasting.
• Coordinates or leads regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
• Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations.
• Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams.
• Mentors junior-level staff.
• Coordinates, develops, and manages a Regulatory Trade Compliance program.

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
• Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
• Excellent analytical and data modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Proven relationship management skills.
