The role

This individual will report to the Business Leader and work as part of an integrated Marketing Communications & Business Development team.

• Developing and implementing comprehensive business development strategies to attract new student segments for our pre-school & primary school programs. This includes identifying and targeting potential families, creating compelling marketing campaigns, and building strong relationships with target expat groups.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, partners, community associations and chambers of commerce. You will be the point of contact for building and maintaining connections within our diverse community.
• Identifying and developing strategic partnerships that support the school's mission and growth objectives. You will seek collaborations with organisations that align with our values.
• Proactively seeking and proposing new opportunities to enhance the school's visibility and impact. Your creativity and initiative will be valued in exploring new avenues for growth, corporate sponsorships and engagement.
• Contributing to the development and execution of school-wide events and initiatives. This could involve participating in open days, organising workshops, and school fairs or supporting cultural celebrations.
• Liaise with our Marketing Communications Officer to create and execute innovative marketing campaigns across various channels to increase brand awareness and interest.
• Manage and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of your initiatives and make informed decisions. Data-driven decision-making is crucial for optimising our outreach efforts and maximising results.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in business development, marketing & sales or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with a proven track record of success in business development and marketing, ideally within the education sector.
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. You will need to generate leads, analyse data, identify trends, and develop solutions to challenges.
• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Building rapport with diverse stakeholders is essential for success in this role.
• Be highly organised and efficient with a strong attention to detail.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and thrive on challenges. The school environment is dynamic, and you will need to be adaptable and resourceful.

Desirable language skills and cultural understanding
