Month End Financial Reporting duties

• Perform and review month-end Journals and ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger for month end and year end closing
• Perform and review monthly financial and management report with related analysis and commentaries
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and area of improvement
• Update monthly Balance sheet schedules and follow up on outstanding items
• Responsible for monthly forecast for both P&L and balance sheet
• Upload Financials into HFM consolidation system and generate monthly reporting packages
• Handle intercompany confirmation and reconciliation of disputes between intercompany
• Involve in annual budgeting preparation

Year End Statutory Audit and Tax Reporting

• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirement
• Preparation and submission of Quarterly GST returns for review
• Attend to GST queries from Operations
• Participate in annual corporate tax filing - Prepare tax schedules to tax agent and address tax queries
• Prepare and submit audit schedules as required by auditors
• Follow up on audit queries

Others

• Participate in system upgrade implementation
• Submit government surveys
• Assist in year-end annual stocktake
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and other initiatives, as assigned by Supervisor

Job requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent field
• Good team player
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Minimium 3 years of relevant experience

· Expense Claims via Concur -review for Processing.

· Assist with statutory Audit and tax queries.

GST Quarterly Reporting

· Generate GST reports for submission.

· Monthly review.

Others

· Back up for Accounts Payables invoice processing.

· Ad-hoc duties, as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

At Least Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

Experience

· Finance professional in an MNC environment with minimal 3 years of relevant experience.
