About the Role:
At MAGES, the role of a Course Advisor is pivotal in guiding and inspiring prospective students through their academic and career decisions. As a Course Advisor, you will serve as the first point of contact for students and parents, helping to align their goals with our educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Consultation and Career Counseling: Provide detailed information about our courses, offering personalized guidance to align with students' career aspirations. Assist students in selecting courses that will fulfill their educational needs and help achieve their life goals.
2. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively guiding students through the enrollment process and matching them with suitable courses.
3. Student and Parent Support: Act as a problem-solver for students and their families, offering solutions to educational challenges and guiding them through grant applications and other financial assistance options.
4. Marketing and Lead Generation: Work closely with the marketing department to develop strategies that attract a steady stream of prospective students.
5. Student Onboarding: Collaborate with the Student Support team to ensure a welcoming and efficient onboarding process, addressing any concerns to enhance the learning experience.
6. Academic Strategy: Partner with the Academic Director to adapt course content and marketing strategies to current industry demands and student needs.
7. Business Development: Contribute to growth strategies alongside the Business Development Manager, seeking new opportunities and partnerships.

We are looking for a highly motivated and inspirational individual to join our MAGES ACADEMIC Team to teach our Game Art courses.

Candidates should be an experienced 3D for Gaming and Films with creativity, skill, enthusiasm and experience to contribute to the delivery of this exciting programme. You should also have a good understanding of the project management methodologies and processes used in game production.

Knowledge / Experience in some of the following areas are also of benefit:

Responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair and holistic assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success for at-risk students.

· Teach assigned courses

· Adequately prepare all course materials and lessons. Note preparation time will vary based on instructor experience in teaching that course

· Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations and timelines through carefully written topical outlines and approved, standardized syllabus

· Provide Interesting and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes in a real-life setting

· Suitably challenge, engage, serve and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning while maintaining mutual value and respect

· Complete grade books, final grade sheets, learning assessments and final exam assessments on a timely basis

· Respond to student questions on a timely basis

· Identify and refer at-risk students to specific academic support services

· Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as defined by the syllabus.

· Where applicable, ensure safety and sanitation of all labs, equipment and supplies

· Provide mentoring to new faculty

· Assist in program evaluation and planning

· Attend regularly scheduled in-services and discipline specific professional development activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITIONS WILL INCLUDE EVIDENCE OF:

Degree/Advanced Diploma in Design or related discipline. Candidates are expected to submit their portfolio along with their resume.

• AAA Character/Environment texturing and materials

• Character/Environment creation methods, including cloth and hair

• Character/Environment art asset pipeline using Unity3D or UE4

• Have a good understanding of form and function with an eye for character and environment design

• Knowledgeable and savvy about the overall Game Art field

• Create stunning art that captures the overall filmic quality of the game’s universe or films

• Have a strong foundation in anatomy, form, gesture, rhythm, color and balance
