About the Role:
We are seeking a bright and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Finance Assistant. This is a key role that will provide essential support to the CEO, ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial operations of our growing brand. As an individual contributor, you will report directly to the CEO and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit accurate financial reports (e.g., monthly revenue and expense reports) for review by the CEO.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and monitor performance against established targets.
- Handle payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Manage petty cash and office supplies.
- Liaise with vendors and external service providers on financial matters.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records (electronic and paper).
- Research and propose cost-saving strategies and process improvements.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and document management.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial or administrative role within the FMCG or retail industry.
- Proficient in accounting principles and practices.
- Candidate should possess a diploma in relevant discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in XERO accounting software or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Singaporean tax regulations and accounting practices (a plus).
