Job Description

• Able to carry out Bunker Quantity & Quality Surveys onboard vessels and bunker tankers independently
• Prepare Bunker Quantity Survey reports
• Report any bunker discrepancies or violation (Quantity and Quality) and provide solution accordingly
• Bunker surveys are to be carried out under the MPA regulation, in accordance to the latest standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with Shipping Agents, Suppliers, and Clients for on-arrival surveys

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in any Marine related courses
• Candidate must possess bunker surveyor licence issued by MPA
• Relevant experience will have added advantage
• Fluent in English and Mother Tongue

• Under-study the process of conducting inspections on vessels’ bunkers and products
• Communicate and coordinate with clients on all aspects of the assignment
• Report any bunker discrepancies or violations (Quantity and Quality) and provide solutions accordingly
• Prepare Bunker Quantity Survey reports
• Bunker surveys are to be carried out under the MPA regulation, in accordance with the latest standards
• Requires to meet 30 stamps before applying for the course and licence

Job Responsibilities: -

• Able to handle full sets of accounts
• Process and issue invoice and update entries into XERO accounting software
• Tally accounts receivable with Purchase Orders/ Delivery Order
• Assist to setup charts of accounts for new accounting clients
• Follow-up payments with clients
• Responsible in annual financial reportings
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management

Job Requirements: -

• Possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting
• Familiar with XERO Accounting Software and Microsoft Office
• Able to work both in a team environment
