Job Scope:
We are seeking for a Data Analytics Architect specializing in Azure and Databricks to design, develop, and manage cloud-based data solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data architectures, and ensuring the efficient use of Azure and Databricks services. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Microsoft’s Azure ecosystem, Databricks, and related tools, with a solid focus on delivering high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Azure Architecture and Strategy:

Design and implement Azure-based data architectures that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
Develop a data strategy leveraging Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks for advanced data processing, storage, and analytics.

Databricks Platform Leadership:

Lead the development of data pipelines and big data solutions using Azure Databricks, with a solid focus on leveraging Apache Spark for scalable data transformations.
Optimize Databricks clusters for performance, cost management, and efficient resource utilization.

Data Integration and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL):

Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks to ensure seamless data integration across various data sources.
Lead the transformation of raw data into meaningful and actionable insights through PySpark or Spark SQL in Databricks.

Data Governance and Management:

Implement and enforce data governance best practices using Azure Purview to ensure compliance, data quality, and integrity across the organization.
Manage Azure Data Lake storage policies to ensure secure and scalable data management.

Performance Optimization:

Continuously monitor and improve the performance of Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks environments.
Implement data partitioning, indexing, and other optimization techniques for fast and reliable data access.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and provide tailored solutions.
Communicate technical specifications clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Mentoring:

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in best practices related to Azure and Databricks platforms.
Provide guidance on Azure DevOps practices, such as setting up continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated data pipeline deployments.

Security and Compliance:

Implement best practices for securing data at rest and in transit using Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, and role-based access controls.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.

Job Qualifications:

Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Extensive experience with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Storage.
In-depth knowledge of Azure Databricks for data engineering, including proficiency in Apache Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building complex data pipelines and integrating data from various structured and unstructured sources.
Proficiency in designing and managing data lakes and data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics.
Excellent experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark for building and optimizing data workflows.
Proficient in Azure DevOps for implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing code repositories.
Proficient in performance optimization techniques for Databricks and Azure SQL (e.g., partitioning, indexing, caching).
Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for Azure resources, ensuring efficient use of cloud services.
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams.
Good communication skills to articulate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Qualifications:

At least 10 years of Pega experience.
Candidate must have Pega Certified Senior System Architect certification.
Skill set in Runtime Architecture, Integration Architecture, and Blueprint and Design Solutions are preferable.
Proficient in Java with good experience in development of multi-tier applications using Java, Tomcat-5.5, WebLogic servers.
Experience in web services like SOAP 1.2, WSDL 2.0 and XML 1.0 will be advantageous.
Experience in Azure is an advantageous.

Currently looking for professionals to join the Consulting & Services team as Project Manager.

To be based in Singapore, the person will be responsible for managing product implementations and post implementation support. The person must be highly client focused with excellent relationship building skills.

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of client implementations as a member of the Implementation Team. The primary focus will be managing the implementation objectives of customers. In addition, he/she will support the organization’s growth by applying a clearly defined project management approach for both new and existing client implementations.

The person will likely come from a technical background with demonstrated experience of delivering healthcare IT projects in an onsite – offshore model. The role demands a pragmatic, hands-on approach to delivery and working closely with our Sales and Engineering teams. The candidate must be motivated by the challenge of building a culture of continuous improvement and celebrated success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and lead small/ medium/ large sized implementations
Develop detailed work plans, schedule estimates, resource plans, status reports and implementation priorities.
Direct teams of business and technical contributors to ensure the successful delivery of properly scoped, on-time, within budget, high-quality solutions.
Responsible for project documentation and management of daily work assignments; performs project status reporting.
Take internal initiatives that may cut across all Napier geographies; provide guidance to team members involved and give business updates on such initiatives to Leadership team
Lead people 1-1, in groups, and in project meetings.
Ensure factual, timely, and quality implementations tracking, analysis, and reporting using a variety of documents and communication strategies.
Ensure team has necessary tools to perform.
Provide guidance to implementation team on technical and functional fees.
Review project delivery and ensure adherence to Napier quality standards and customer expectations.
Obtain sign-offs on all deliverables from key parties.
Make timely and appropriate decisions to ensure implementations are on track for successful delivery; and escalate when needed.
Review implementation process to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to the process.
Assist with selection, orientation and mentoring of new team members.
Conduct performance evaluations in a timely manner and recognize exceptional employee performance.
Improve technical and functional skills, creativity and problem solving ability of team members.
Contribute to Napier knowledge repository (case studies, process documents, training documents etc.) Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Provide project effort to bid team.
Travel as required.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

10+ years of work experience primarily in a software implementation role managing people, processes and project delivery.
3-5 years of implementation lead and project management experience.
Demonstrate a strong application of project management methodology in delivering projects, especially in the healthcare provider space.
Exceptional communication skills to converse with all levels of clients; internal and external.
Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and prioritize appropriately to meet project deadlines.
Self-motivated, pro-active and effective in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Adept at leveraging the value of an onsite / off-shore model.
Ability to travel to other regional and international sites.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience).
Experience implementing healthcare IT solutions (onsite/ offshore model) for US providers would be an added advantage.
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) preferred.

Experience in web services like SOAP 1.2, WSDL 2.0 and XML 1.0 will be good to have.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services, particularly in deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
Ability to lead and guide project teams, providing direction and support to ensure successful implementation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
