OVERVIEW 

As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and optimal performance of all broadcast equipment and systems. Your role will involve maintaining high technical standards to guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted transmission of our originated channels. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all systems are fully operational, facilitating smooth broadcasting and minimal downtime. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of broadcast equipment and contribute to new installation projects. 

• Lead assigned engineering projects, managing the planning, design, and implementation phases. 

• Maintain and update system and infrastructure diagrams to ensure they reflect any changes to the facility or infrastructure. 

• Ensure continuous, uninterrupted operation of CNBC Asia Pacific’s originated channels. 

• Maintain and ensure the full operational functionality of production systems to support scheduled production activities. 

• Ensure post-production systems remain fully operational to meet post-production schedule. 

• Address and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption to broadcast operations. 

• Perform routine and critical maintenance on on-air transmission equipment, studio equipment, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), air conditioning and computers, ensuring timely and efficient service. 

• Perform front line maintenance for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including air conditioning and UPS systems.

OVERVIEW 

As the Communications Coordinator, you will contribute to the planning and execution of the team’s initiatives across CNBC International’s Asia Pacific (APAC) region in coordination with the Director of Communications, International and Communications Associate, EMEA.  

Your role will be essential in ensuring consistent, positive brand messaging across all channels, while actively identifying opportunities for public relations initiatives. Working with the wider Communications team, you will assist in creating compelling content, supporting campaigns, and building strong and constructive working relationships as this position collaborates with many internal stakeholders across the international organisation. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS 

• Work closely with the Director of Communications, International to build public relations plans to support the promotion of CNBC’s business day news, long-form content, special events, and editorial and business priorities.

• Develop external communication materials such as press releases, social media content, and pitches.  

• Drive opportunities in the region to promote the profiles of key talent and senior executives through internal and external opportunities.  

• Create, manage and update media lists and work closely with the newsroom team to identify and disseminate breaking news and big interviews. 

• Monitor, analyse and report on trending news stories and social media conversations, press coverage and competitor landscape. 

• Manage photo and video shoots for regional business day programs, talent, and events. 

• Proactively oversee entries for industry awards in the region, working with internal teams to gather data, draft copy, and submit entries. 

• Track and analyse communication performance metrics to evaluate the impact of messaging and campaigns.  

• Ensure CNBC International’s show descriptions, anchor biographies and photographer bank are updated on a regular basis.

The Vice President of Brand & Marketing leads the brand marketing for CNBC internationally, ensuring the brand is positioned for growth with our audience and distribution partners across multiple countries and regions. The role is responsible for coming up with wholistic marketing plans for the quarter and the year, collating and organizing brand marketing assets including on-air promos, signage and digital units, ensuring we are using our house inventory to maximum effect and working with partners on barter opportunities. In addition, he/she is tasked with measuring the performance metrics of the overall brand and the performance of individual campaigns. The Vice President will also liaise with the SVP of Communications for CNBC in the US and the SVP and CMO for NBC News Group in the US.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
