Commissioning (Cx) Engineer – Electrical, Data Centre MEP

Role: Supports the lead electrical commissioning engineer in performing testing and validation of electrical systems critical for data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute electrical system testing, including functional tests of UPS systems, power distribution units (PDUs), switchgear, and emergency power systems.

Document test results and assist in producing comprehensive commissioning reports for electrical systems.

Support troubleshooting efforts during commissioning to resolve any performance issues in critical power systems.

Ensure that electrical components are installed and functioning according to design specifications and operational needs of a mission-critical data center.

Work closely with the lead electrical engineer to ensure all electrical systems meet performance, safety, and redundancy standards.

Commissioning (Cx) Lead Engineer – Mechanical, Data Centre

Role: Leads the commissioning of all mechanical systems within the data center, with a focus on achieving optimal cooling and environmental control essential for data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement mechanical commissioning procedures .

Ensure systems are tested for cooling redundancy and efficiency, meeting stringent uptime and temperature control requirements.

Oversee performance testing of cooling systems, including airflow management and pressure tests to prevent hotspots and optimize cooling efficiency.

Collaborate with design and operations teams to ensure mechanical systems align with energy efficiency, environmental, and operational goals of data centers.

Troubleshoot and optimize complex mechanical systems to ensure high reliability and continuous operations.

Provide technical reports on system performance and recommendations for mechanical systems' long-term operation.

Familiarity with ASHRAE data center cooling guidelines.

Lead commissioning meetings and interface with key stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and consultants.

Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for complex MEP systems.
