Responsibilities:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and strategies, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market changes
- Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, vendors and suppliers to foster strong strategic partnerships on achieving shared business objectives
- Propose and facilitate partnership, barter deals, sponsorships, and events that support business objectives
- Responsible for overall marketing communications, promotional activities, and customer experiences for our outlets
- Representative in the market to build and manage strategic relationship with vendors
- Manage all tenancy and contract negotiations with vendors on terms to drive business with vendors
- Ensure contracts are administered timely and accurately
- To develop creative and commercially viable concepts and solutions, to improve business performance and competitive advantage
- To plan marketing strategies and product launches with brand/vendor in line with store campaigns to maximize exposure/sales
- To inform all stores of advertised promotions well in advance of the ad; to schedule deliveries so that stock is available in the stores or all advertised merchandise.
- To note and analyze the results of all marketing initiatives for future planning
- To visit the shop floor frequently to check on merchandise displays and stock levels; to consult with retail executives and salespeople on problems and suggestions
- To conduct trend, product knowledge and feedback sessions with operations team regularly.
- To maintain close communications with retail executives and sales staff to convey merchandise information and merchandising strategies of the department
- Any other duties which may be assigned by your immediate supervisor/manager from time to time
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience of related field
- Effective planning and strong negotiation skills
- Good business judgment, analytical and decision-making skills
- Independent and a team player
- Good project management skills with experience in event planning and assist in planning of changes for layout
- Work experience in a start-up environment will be a plus
