Qualification:

Desired Skills:

The ideal candidate will be experienced in planning, developing, and executing comprehensive tests. As a member of the Quality Engineering team, you will work closely with the development, BA and support teams to understand the application’s features and architecture to develop test cases to ensure that the application’s UI / API / Data layers are thoroughly tested before releasing into production.

Principal Responsibilities

• Become an SME of the application and utilize that knowledge to own and drive end-to-end testing initiatives throughout the entire SDLC from project test planning, requirement review, test design, test execution, test reporting and sign off.
• Design, build,and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable automated test cases using in house automation framework libraries and open-source frameworks to achieve highest possible test automation coverage.
• Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers and product owners to release highest quality products.
• Build,maintain, and troubleshoot automated test execution environments/pipelines.
• Work with SDETs to suggest and contribute new features/changes to central framework library and tools.
• Work with QA team members to achieve upstream/downstream integration testing.

Qualifications / Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation Harness Development or Software Development using Java, Junit
• Experience with test automation for Appian is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of financial instruments and nomenclature, experience with various trading or back-office systems is desired but not
• required.
• Proven track record of building test automation frameworks and integrating automated testing tools with them.
• Proficient in Java / Python with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Strong Web Automation using Selenium or similar tools (preferably Playwright)
• Strong API Test Automation using Rest Assured or similar tools
• Experience with CI / CD from test automation perspective.
• Abilities to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable and scalable solutions
• Strong technical skills, practical knowledge of SQL
• Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and tracing root cause.
• Experience in automated testing of distributed systems / solutions.
• Experience designing, implementing, or enhancing test harness / framework

· As a Site Reliability Engineer should engages in and improves the full lifecycle of cloud platform solutions from design, deployment, operation and refinement with accuracy and in compliance with organization policies and security requirements.

· Work with the vendors to setup centralized DevOps solutions considering market best practice, Industry standard and ease of support.

· Work with the vendors to upgrade the DevOps tools farm and Integrating with tools.

· Lead analysis and resolution of root cause for Test Orchestration / Environment related issues

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

· Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills.

Skills/Requirement

· Deep technical background, with hands-on experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA and Confluence). Prior technical background on different build strategies.

· Deep technical background on Kubernetes deployment process.

· Good knowledge on maintaining/deploying secrets in Kubernetes.

· Prior working experience in setting up Jira workflow.

· Prior experience is customizing JIRA and Setting up confluence spaces.

· Prior hand-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline as a centralized solution.

· Hand on experience in setting up DevOps governance, Security standards and audit requirements.

· Prior experience in setting up DevOps pipeline in internal and external could offerings.

· Experience with continuous testing, techniques and tools (Junit, Sonar Cube, Veracode etc.)

· Technical exposure of automation accomplished with advanced Python, Chef, Ruby and PowerShell
