As an Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our supply operations and photocopier services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, including testing and calibration procedures

• Provide training and support to end-users on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on photocopiers and printing equipment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory and service history.

Skill & Competencies

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing photocopiers and printing equipment.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components and digital imaging technology.

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for equipment maintenance.

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain relationships with MNC clients and the Ministry of Education for copier supply needs.

• Provide technical expertise to ensure seamless installation and performance optimisation.

• Collaborate with the sales team to meet revenue targets and expand market presence.

Technical Skill & Competencies

• Proficiency in understanding copier functionalities and specifications, particularly Canon models.

• Strong sales acumen with a focus on technical solutions for diverse client requirements.

• Experience in managing client accounts and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

• Knowledge of printing technologies and trends in the reprographic industry.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of computer and copier management software such as MS Office, Xerox, and Ricoh.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work unscheduled hours or attend to client emergencies after hours.
