Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of technical engineers and technicians to ensure all concrete products supplied meet customer’s specification.
• Evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of concrete products.
• Research and develop new concrete products and improve concrete performance.
• Apply cutting-edge concrete technology and raw materials for the development of concrete products.
• Establish good working relationships and build a good rapport with representatives from statutory bodies (BCA, LTA, HDB etc), consultants and customers in order to get more funding for our concrete development projects.
• Facilitate technical sessions to upskill our technical managers and engineers.
• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Civil or Materials Science Engineering
• Good knowledge in Civil engineering, Construction technology, Material science, Concrete technology and Production.
• Well versed in laboratory tests, relevant standards and specifications.
• A team player who is equipped with good leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Eager to learn, innovative, and possesses the initiative to acquire new technology and skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review, coordinate with Professional Engineer and finalise technical drawings for assigned projects given by the Facilities Manager
• Ensure, administer and comply with safety & health procedures at the project site at all times
• Schedule work progress from commencement to final commissioning
• Co-ordinate work schedule with sub-contractors to ensure that projects are executed effectively within the scheduled timelines
• Ensure that all plant facilities are properly set up, in accordance to the design plan, before handing the site over to the Operations team
• Carry out testing and commissioning of the newly erected batching plant site before handing the plant over to the Operations team.
• Regularly update progress status and matters of concern to the Assistant Facilities Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience working in engineering
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing mechanical systems and products
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude under tight schedules
• Estate management preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of local safety regulations
• Possess a Class 3 driving license

• Work at the heart of our Ready-Mixed Concrete operations: In our world-class Innovation Centre, Command Centre and/ or island-wide batching plants
• Conduct regular in-house testing to monitor concrete raw materials and product performance, in accordance with international test standards and specifications
• Assist in all measures related to product quality control
• Liaise with customers to ensure deliveries are arranged accurately and production targets are meet
• Perform quality control works at both batching plants and on site
• Educate staff and drivers on the importance of good quality control for concrete
• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply
• Familiar with the fundamentals of concrete properties, admixture technologies and applications
• Familiar with SSEN, ACI, ASTM, and BS/ EN standards or specifications for Civil

• Ensure that all machinery and products meet compliance regulations
• Analyse problems or deficiencies and develop solutions to resolve them
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
• Ensure project timeline is met and the project stays within budget

Requirements:
