[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
You will be reporting to the Team lead, Character Leadership and Development. You will design, deliver and refine curriculum (often as pilot versions), manage the outsourcing to partner organisations of curriculum delivery and thereafter monitor quality, and conduct research of international quality in the domain of character and leadership development (CLD) to ensure that both coaches and organisational leaders in sport have access to quality development programmes.
You may also work with SportsG Colleagues from Human Capital (Learning & Development) and ActiveSG Training Centre to design and deliver relevant leadership development programmes for SportSG staff.
In this role, you will,
Design, deliver, manage, evaluate and review existing/new Character and Leadership Development curriculum that CoachSG/Singapore Sport Institute will offer.
Conduct research and innovation in relevant fields or support your HOD in the department's research projects.
Mentor interns, coaches or leaders that are attached to the academy and guide them in their research, coaching or leadership practise in CLD.
Collaborate with CoachSG colleagues from the Coaching Development team to ensure an integrated approach to coach development

Job Requirements
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following;
- Background in Sport Coaching, Sport/ Exercise Psychology, Sport and Physical Education, Education, Organisational Psychology or relevant discipline
- Approximately 5- 8 years proven experience in facilitation, teaching, coaching, character & leadership development
- Demonstrated experience in developing and evaluating programmes and curriculum
- Proven ability to foster collaborative efforts by building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication (including written communication) skills.
- Ability to moderate panel discussions and/or sharing by experts would be a bonus.
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track record. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance
