The Manager will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the spectrum of finance functions, including accounting, consolidation and finance operations of Sun Venture's assets. Working closely with various stakeholders, the Manager plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with our internal policies, financial reporting standards and relevant regulations. These include to:

• Prepare the full set of monthly management accounts for entities, including issuance of invoices and making payments
• Review the full set of monthly management accounts prepared by junior employees
• Ensure audit, tax and regulatory compliance, including liaising with auditors on annual statutory audit and annual returns filing, liaising with tax agents on corporate tax filing, preparing and completing quarterly GST filing as well as filing with various other government agencies
• Prepare and review management reports to provide updates on the business performance to the management team
• Participate and support the budget and forecasting process, and perform variance analysis to identify opportunities for growth and cost discipline
• Participate and support process improvement initiatives

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance with CPA/CA (or equivalent) qualifications
• Minimum 6-8 years relevant accounting experience in real estate, private equity, or asset management industry, including at least 2 years in managerial roles
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and compliance requirements of the real estate, funds and asset management industry
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Able to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in various Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Familiarity with Yardi and Microsoft Power Platform is an added advantage

The successful applicant will be placed on a one-year contract.

As an integral member of the Investment Strategy team, the Senior Manager / Manager will help shape and influence the overall direction of Sun Venture’s externally managed funds. This involves continuously assessing the appropriateness of the firm's externally managed funds across multiple asset classes, considering the changing dynamics of the investment markets.

Your primary objective is to assist Sun Venture's Head of Investment (HOI) in evaluating the strategy and positioning of Sun Venture's external managers, with a focus on public markets funds (equities and fixed income). You will be responsible for sourcing suitable funds and monitoring all outsourced mandates, emphasizing all pertinent matters for the HOI's consideration:

• Review and recommend external fund managers for public equities, fixed income, listed REITs, and (if necessary) alternatives.
• Monitor the performance of externally managed funds, determine reasons for underperformance or outperformance, and provide management with relevant information/developments about the external managers, recommending a course of action.
• Assist the HOI with investment strategy and research.
• Work with the Operations team to ensure monthly rebalancing to Strategic Asset Allocation and proper accounting of all cash.
• Help the HOI with investment-related matters, such as strategic asset allocation, tactical asset allocation, and industry research.

• Degree in Accountancy, Business, Business Administration, or equivalent. CFA qualification is a plus.
• 8-10 years of relevant investment experience in the financial industry.
• Extensive experience in portfolio investment management, including mandate guidelines, fund documentation, tracking error, alpha generation, risk budgeting, and performance attribution.
• Familiarity with portfolio construction within a multi-manager framework.
• Strong knowledge of public equities and public fixed income managers.
• Excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills, with high ethical and professional standards.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

You will support the Corporate Secretarial function for the group in accordance with corporate policies, provide business support to the Group's stakeholders, and assist with managing the requirements for a growing number of group entities administered by multiple service providers across multiple jurisdictions. These include to:

• Prepare documentation and/or organise with third parties to draft documentation
• Coordinate for timely signature and dating of documentation, and monitor the status of tasks/documentation
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all company documentation on file (e.g. board resolutions, registers, incorporation documents, statutory documents), and filed promptly
• Coordinate and/or draft Director's resolutions, meeting minutes/AGM as and when required
• Assist with new company incorporations and set up, winding down, liquidating and dissolving companies
• Support KYC and information requests
• Provide business support such as maintaining the statutory compliance schedule, and coordinating with Finance on matters such as bank account opening, and assist business units as required
• Assist with standardisation, documentation, and automation of processes
• Develop an in-house library of commonly used documents, and ensure internal folders are maintained and updated timely

• Degree qualification or equivalent is preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant working experience with a corporate service provider and/or a similar in-house role with multi-jurisdictional experience, including administering Singapore entities
• Good business understanding of corporate secretarial & regulatory requirements, operations, legal structure and obligations
• Meticulous and detail oriented with effective time management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to see the big picture and consider the impact of the tasks performed
