- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee the procurement process, from purchase requisition to delivery and payment.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical practices.
- Generate reports and analysis on procurement performance, costs, and savings.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in procurement.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 2 – 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Prior experience in shipping operation will be an added advantage.
