Job Description & Requirements

• Account administration, Log management and extraction.
• Building, releasing, and managing the configuration of production systems.
• Managing a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies
• Manage applications deployed in AWS cloud environment.
• Messaging services in Cloud

• Service configuration and management.
• Monitor and finetune the performance of the middleware.
• Assist to on board and deploy existing and new applications.
• Communicate and coordinate with representatives and other application vendors using the same middleware to minimise downtime for any activities on the middleware.
• Coordinate with infrastructure FM team on all infrastructure matters, including operating system, backup, capacity and etc.
• Report and assist on security related incident and activities.
• Coordinate with the principal vendor of the middleware to obtain the latest and necessary firmware and software patches.
• Provide monthly report on patch status, activities conducted, and to forecast activities.
• Monitor the Systems to ensure security, data integrity and efficient performance.
• Monitor, schedule and ensure successful completion of ad-hoc, daily, weekly, monthly and other batch reporting and processing jobs of the related to the Systems.
• Provide corrective maintenance, troubleshoot and isolate defects, including diagnosis and correction of all latent errors in the Systems.
• Manage and implement changes to the Systems to minimize impact on Solution Availability.
• Attend to user queries and provide support to them in the daily operations of the Systems.
• Propose and implement operational procedures such as system back-up, recovery, deployment and monitoring and work with the infrastructure FM team to implement the proposed procedures.
• Plan and propose continual improvements of the Systems and the system infrastructure, interfaces with internal and/or external systems,
• Migration of Systems to Cloud environments.

Must Have Skill/ Technology

• Proven experience as a AWS Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Weblogic, Tomcat, Websphere and experience working within Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience addressing system vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with SOAP APIs and service development for system integration
• Must have strong hands-on experience in AWS environment, API Configuration, Cloud Watch, Kubernetes.
• Expertise in managing web applications in Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat and FileNet
• Having experience in AWS Govt Commercial cloud GCC is advantageous
• Possess hands-on experience as AWS Cloud Engineer or in a similar role
• Expertise in scripting languages like bash, sh, Perl, and csh.

Good to have Have Skill/ Technology

• Prior experience in other Singapore Government Agencies
• Familiar with Netrust, SingPass and IBM Filenet
• Linux Shell scripts Experience

Must Have

• Experience in providing VIP/Class A support
• Expertise in End User Support including Hardware IMAC and troubleshooting
• Expertise in Remote Desktop and Laptop troubleshooting
• Knowledge on Server, Network, Printer and Peripherals
• Experience in providing Airport Terminal, Kiosks and Hangar device support

Roles & Responsibilities

• Risk assessment, vulnerability management, and developing compliance frameworks to protect cardholder data.
• Asset and incident management (Handling Change Request & Incident tickets in large-scale) and provides operational support such as incident resolution, Incident escalation, Critical situation disposition and closure.
• Installing and troubleshooting Symantec, MS-Defender, McAfee endpoint encryption, CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack , GuardiCore Anti-virus products and analysed malware behaviour & vulnerability closure in Endpoints and Servers.
• Working knowledge of client deployment build technologies, software distribution, Implementation and Migration activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Performance Manager to understand the Performance Testing requirements
• Evaluate application architectures and design performance test plans
• Establish performance test objectives, acceptance criteria, workload profiles and use case scenarios
• Creation and maintenance of performance test plans, utilizing JMeter load testing and Microfocus LoadRunner software to inject load, analysing metrics from application and system logs
• Simulating system behavior to improve the performance and reliability of applications
• Measure and analyze performance data (workload, system and application)
• Solve complex problems and provide clear and concise reports with recommendations
• Work closely with development teams, architects and engineers to test their products under load and make recommendations
• Work as an expert performance engineering resource on multiple initiatives of diverse scope
