Job Responsibility:

• Stock Management: Handle the receiving, storing, and issuing of stocks within the warehouse, maintaining meticulous records of stock quantities and location to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts and effectively reconcile any discrepancies that may arise.
• Order Fulfilment: Assist in picking, packing, and delivering orders as required, ensuring prompt and accurate fulfilment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all material handling equipment in optimal working condition to facilitate seamless warehouse operations.
• Operational Support: Contribute to the day-to-day functioning of the warehouse, including maintaining cleanliness and organization to uphold a safe and efficient working environment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and security protocols within the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ level qualification or equivalent.
• Willingness to work beyond standard office hours, including rotating shifts, in a fast-paced, non-air-conditioned warehouse environment.
• Must hold a valid class 3 license or above.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Basic PC knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office) and the ability to communicate with email.
• Experience with the Microsoft Navision system is a bonus.
• Proficiency in Mandarin would be beneficial for liaising with associates.

About the role

This full-time Accounts Assistant (Accounts Receivable) role with TeleChoice International Limited is located in the Pandan Crescent. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable activities of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Handle the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable
• Perform reconciliation of daily retail sales collection and assist in cash counting
• Prepare sales invoices, credit notes, release sales orders and ensure completion of billings
• Preparation of monthly statement of accounts and follow up on collection from customers
• Maintain and update cashbook and support cashflow forecast process
• Assist with month-end closing
• Support quarterly inventory stock count and reconciliation
• Support annual audit process
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance/accounting role
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail skills
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and teamwork with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment indenpendently as a team player.
• Sound knowledge of accounts receivable principles and best practices
