What you will do
Client leadership and development
- Build and maintain client relationships at the Manager and Director level.
- Guide clients and new prospects on their marketing strategy, helping to match their challenges to solutions offered by TMP that will meet their objectives.
- Help to advise on the appropriate investment needed to achieve their goals.
- Communicate the results/impacts of our work to help secure ongoing funding for future projects and campaigns.
- Act as a trusted advisor and expert on your client’s business.
- Challenge and improve briefs.
- Co-ordinate and deliver compelling quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to provide insight, inspiration, and recommendations for future work.
Account direction
- Represent the client’s business, brand, strategy, and objectives within the internal team, ensuring they have the context they need to succeed.
- Oversee a team to plan and deliver multiple marketing programs, ensuring you have the right roles in place to deliver the work across your account.
- Drive a focus on campaign results to measure the success and outcomes of campaign activities.
- Review and critique strategic, conceptual, and content outputs from the team to ensure they meet the brief and overall strategy.
Commercial management
- Be accountable for converting viable opportunities that will both be fit for the client’s budget and be profitable for TMP.
- Ensure that estimates and Scopes of Work meet the brief and will effectively manage expectations and potential risks.
- Provide timely and accurate revenue forecasts across your account, working with delivery teams to ensure individual programs are profitable and on track.
- Resolve blockers or issues that may stand in the way of your account being profitable.
- Input into growth targets for your accounts.
- Manage investments into client development activity, appropriate to the scale of the opportunity.
- Prepare and input into agency commercial reviews.
Marketing strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of your client’s business, industry, and work, using this insight to inform all aspects of your oversight of the account.
- Provide recommendations for large-scale marketing solutions that deliver on the business objectives of both the client and TMP.
Business development
- Spot new opportunities and work closely with the growth team to convert.
- Expand client contacts and nurture alumni
- Support on pitches and RFPs.
Team management and development
- Develop the skills of team members through on-the-job coaching, support, and guidance.
- Create a positive team environment across your account.

What you will need
- Several years’ experience working marketing agency side, in a B2B environment with a proven track record for adding value back to the Client.
- Experience in managing key/senior client and partner relationships and comfortable communicating both internally and externally.
- Experience in directing marketing programs based on client/business objectives, and in recommending marketing solutions to business challenges.
- Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools.
