- Ensure management and statutory accounting records are maintained in compliance with general accepted Standards and Regulations
- Ensure that the general accounting and financial reporting activities are compliant with the Group core model and within Singapore tax jurisdiction
Reporting – Actuals
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end account closing and reporting
- Prepare monthly financial management reports in software and ensure all financial reporting and consolidation reporting deadlines are met
Reporting – Budget
- Perform periodical forecasting as per request from time to time
- Prepare consolidated forecast reports and analyse the difference compared with previous forecast, as required
- Preparation of Data for Budget Planning of the following year, based on trend analysis and actual planning
Audit, Tax and Compliance
- Assist Group Internal Controls Director and Company Finance Director in maintaining periodical testing and internal controls risk assessments, in order to ensure compliance with Group Internal Controls Procedures as well as Statutory Requirements.
- Lead financial annual audit process for subsidiaries in charge, including preparation of annual accounts according to Singapore FRS and coordination of the whole process
- Handle tax related matters, including GST tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Monitor statutory tax compliance matters
- Prepare annual corporate tax computation of the company, ensure the computation be reviewed by tax consultant and Finance director, monitor the tax filing status
Others
- Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation
- Fixed asset maintenance and control
- Monthly supervision of payments and receivables management with a team of accounting assistants
- Stocks management and analysis with the help of a team of specialists
Requirements:
- Possess Diploma or Accounting Degree from a recognised institution with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts
- Sound knowledge of double entry principle
- Good understanding of Accounting Standards, Tax & GST regulations
- Hands on knowledge of accounting system ACCPAC
- Knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
