About the Role
Britannia has an exciting opportunity for someone who will be responsible for carrying out all accounting duties for the Singapore Hub and key controls within the accounting system. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be involved in AP/AR work, processing day-to-day payments, payroll, GST return, monthly bank reconciliation, as well as assisting in budget and forecasting.

Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
· Management of invoice payment processes with the internal Accounts team in London
· Provides bookkeeping support for finance team, keeping track of accounts payable and accounts receivables.
· Working with the finance teams to set budgets and forecast
· Review reimbursement and payment request and arrange funding transfer
· Coordinate with payroll vendor, process monthly payroll and reporting as per requested
Banking:
· Liaising with bank’s relationship manager and banking service
· Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations, reconcile payment with invoices and resolve discrepancies.
General Ledger and sub ledgers:
· Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
· Prepare, review of budget proposals and variance report
· Day to day accounting issues
Tax/Audit:
· Liaise with Auditors and Singapore government agencies
· Preparation of tax returns – Corporate tax, employee income tax and GST return
· Assistance to ensure all regulatory and tax filings are completed and in accordance with local laws
· Assist on year-end IFRS financial statements, including liaising with auditors and services providers and managing the audit process
· Other ad hoc finance duties as assigned
About You
Knowledge/Experience
· 1-3 years of AP and/or AR experience gained within a professional / financial services / mutual insurance association.
· Previous payroll processing experience (familiar with CPF and tax regulations)
· Previous experience working with accounting software
· Computer literate and familiar with all MS Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
· Previous exposure to MAS regulations (good to have)
Qualifications/Education
· Minimally a Diploma with a Finance major or equivalent, or professional Accounting qualification
