[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with relevant business division/programme partners to determine the programme data source for relevant data consolidation.
• Assist and support the performance of data analysis and data mapping, where appropriate, to facilitate the identification of unusual trends, anomalies, behaviour etc.
• Prepare the relevant data and/or information and conduct of analytical review.
• Assist the deep dive review into the identified trend and behaviour to further review for specific indications of non-compliances and/or potential suspected fraud.
• Assist to develop suitable data review processes that can assist business divisions in the upstream early detection of potential issues in the grants administration and processing.
• Coordinate with relevant business divisions on referral cases of potential suspected fraud for further inquiry and investigations by IAU.
• Timely management and maintenance of WSG blacklist listing.

• Basic critical thinking and problem-solving skills – ability to understand beyond the numbers and its implications
• Ability to review complex dataset and develop suitable data review approach to support the achievement of the objectives of data analysis deliverables
• In-depth knowledge of using analytical formulas and functions for MS Excel and other relevant analytical tools, such as data visualization, as well as experience in simple data cleaning
• Knowledge and experience in basic analytical review is essential
• Good communication & presentation skills and inter-personal skills to engage with relevant stakeholders
• A team player with good inter-personal skills
• Driven, meticulous and able to multi-task and work with least supervision
• Good system and processes development acumen. Knowledge related to financial and auditing concepts, accounting principles are an added advantage.

[What you will be working on]

Enable industry and enterprise capabilities through strategic manpower planning

• Identify and assess key industry, manpower challenges and skills through data analysis and trend evaluation

• Engage strategic accounts and companies to ascertain company’s manpower related and reskilling pain points and work with companies to implement strategies for workforce transformation

• Recommend strategic human capital solutions aligning with industry or enterprises’ business and manpower needs.

• Support the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) and Jobs Transformation Map (JTM) to articulate key insights and trends, particularly the Jobs and Skills pillar

Forge impactful partnerships and collaborations through stakeholder engagement

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with public agencies, strategic partners and stakeholders

• Collaborate with industry stakeholders, trade associations, tripartite partners and programme partners to develop and implement relevant manpower interventions to address industry manpower issues

• Consult with employers to promote adoption of WSG programmes and progressive human resource practices to address their manpower needs

Manage and review programmes to achieve positive outcomes

• Guide and work with appointed programme partners to ensure compliance with policies and processes

• Organise or support outreach and marketing events such as career events and industry engagements

• Track programmes’ progress and analyse industry related information to evaluate and make recommendations for management decision making

[What we are looking for]

Knowledge/Skills

• At least two years of working experience is preferred, although fresh university graduates who possess maturity, strong communication and interpersonal skills will be considered

• Awareness of various government initiatives related to manpower and training would be advantageous including experience in handling business needs analysis and transformation projects

• Strong engagement skills with experience in account/ project management and/or consultancy role

• Strong written and spoken communication skills

• Good persuasive and negotiation skills  

• Strong data analytics skills would be advantageous

• Able to synthesise information and data for decision making and outcome monitoring
