Job Description

Accounts Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reports to Management

• Prepare and closing of monthly and annual financial statements

• Responsible for full set of accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation etc)

• Full jobscope of accounting including data entry , etc

• Knowledge of accounting software and willing to learn

• Handle financial statement, balance sheet, tax matter, etc

• Preparation of Quarterly GST reporting/submission

• Assist in preparation of information required for management reporting

• Any other tasks as assigned by Finance Manager/management

• Record and update marketing expenses

Job Requirements

• Preferable Diploma in Accounting/Finance or ACCA equivalent

• Work experience as an Account Assistant or Accounting Clerk

Role Overview

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
• Prepare and ensure timely submission of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
• Handle payroll processing, including CPF submissions and tax-related filings.
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage accounts receivable collections.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders for audits and statutory reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
• Support ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts (2+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
