The new interdisciplinary school, School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB), formed by integrating the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) from College of Engineering and the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry from College of Science, invites applicants to apply for tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.

Theoretical/Computational Chemistry: We welcome applicants with expertise in the areas of current interests related, but not limited to:
1) Quantum chemistry, dynamics, and statistical mechanics with capability to develop new theoretical and computational methodologies capable of precise prediction of chemical and physical processes and reaction mechanisms;
2) Development of novel methodologies to apply data science tools (e.g. Machine learning and/or artificial intelligence) to facilitate the new discoveries of emergent phenomena in various aspects of chemical and physical processes, reactions, and applications;
3) Relevant knowledge and expertise in spectroscopic studies are not necessary but will be a great plus.

The commencing salary will depend on the candidates' qualifications, experience, and the level of appointment offered.
