1. For Singapore Headquarter

• Assist Accounting Managers for monthly closing, auditing and so on.

• Handle accounting matters related to one business unit

• Prepares corporate income tax with tax agent

• Supports in electronic approval system user’s enquiries, change request, etc.

• Assist in various audits

• Other ad-hoc duties as required and/or assigned

2. Other Requests

• Handle/Manage time to time requests from the Managers

• Assume other related supporting roles and duties which may be assigned, including the covering of other Finance & Accounting staff’s duties in her/his absence

Accounts Receivable:

· Issuing Sales Invoices for completed delivery and Cash sales.

· Mail out sales invoices and submission E — Invoice for Gov. follow up collection for overdue invoices, assist customer to revise invoices/credit notes.

· Scan and save the invoice and supporting documents in share folder and Nay.

· Send out statement to customer every end of the month.

· Receive Cheque/Citi's 'PayNow'/NETS receipt and issue cash sales/service calls (around 100 cash receipts/month)

· Creating New Customers in Navision, getting information from Sales and OA, save the share folder.

· Preparing progress Claim for project, monitor and post necessary adjustment.

· Issue Debit Notes for recharge bill to interco and send statements by end of each month

· Credit assessment with supervisor

Accounts Payable:

· Downloading E-invoices from Vendor website and Share folder (saved by OA team).

· Verifying Vendor's invoices and supporting documents, entering in Navision.

· Save soft copy for invoices and supporting documents in Share folder and Nay.

· Creating New Vendor in Navision, getting approval.

Month ended closing / Reporting:

· Intercompany accounts Receivable / Payable balance confirmation/Reconciliation at end of the month.

· Bank reconciliations.

· Interco loan in interest schedule

. Assist for month end/year end closing

This role is to support the Senior Accountant (Crewing Entities) in keeping full set of accounts and ensuring that all accounting standards, controls and accuracy are maintained whilst meeting Northern Marine Group / Stena Group reporting requirements.

• Keeping full set of accounts for several crewing entities, including preparation of financial statements, relevant reconciliation reports and audit schedules
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbook, fixed assets and general ledger functions
• Maintain individual accounts receivable and accounts payable subledgers and make adjustment whenever necessary, including generating and posting sales invoices in the ERP system, posting of supplier invoices in the system for approval and payments
• Preparing & co-ordinating period end closing activities for corporate reporting
• Responsible for submitting annual budgets and quarterly forecasts including AARO reporting
• Perform variance analysis, bank & accounts reconciliations
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and other parties on financial transactions
• Preparing annual financial reports within statutory deadlines
• Submission of GST returns, prepare corporate tax computation and XBRL
• Manage treasury activities, including cashflow forecasts, working capital requirements and ensure sufficient funding received from clients for seafarers’ payrolls
• Liaise with corporate secretarial agents, auditors, tax agents, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations etc, for preparation and submission of necessary regulatory documentation & returns
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls procedures and processes in line with company’s policies
• Involved in external ISO & internal controls audits, finance procedures & transfer pricing documentation and writing minutes of meetings

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent preferred
• Computer literate particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Organized, detailed and deadline-oriented
• Able to work both independently and equally in a team environment
• Possess a positive attitude

• Handle Grants and Funds related matters for patient related- ie verify supporting documents, prepare reports and submit Claims to the respective Agencies by the due dates.
• Review Grant related audit schedules
• Prepare Grant related audit schedules (Patient related)
• Review and compile the Grant related audit schedules to Corporate Finance
• Review and analyze “Other Operating Income (OOI)”, “Research” for month end close. Prepare commentary for variance.
• Liaise with external parties for Grant and Funds related journal postings or preparation of reports
• Co-ordinate Grant audit, liaise with external auditors and ensure that audit reports are submitted timely
• Review Fixed assets schedule- Ensure that the schedules are updated timely and follow up
• Prepare Quarterly Fixed asset movement report to users

About the Finance Department:

The Finance Department oversees the organization’s financial activities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and reviewing day-to-day financial operations within the company
• Responsible for period end closing process and ensure all journals, AP, and AR sections are closed promptly
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet schedules to its control accounts including bank reconciliations
• Able to lead and provide guidance to a team members to meet reporting deadlines
• Monitor and manage the organisation cash flow, ensuring there are adequate funds to support operations and capital projects.
• Implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity.
• Prepare financial reports related to budgets and actual in preparation of quarterly finance review.
• Liaising with external party such as bank, and auditors.
• Monitor and review schedules for the interim and year-end audit
• Other assignment as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder
• At least 3 years of accounting full function experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software
