RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Producer and Executive Producer in all pre-production, production and post-production matters.
• Assist in liaison work with internal production units and external companies.
• Work with the production team to prepare/break down the finalized scripts for production. This includes arranging/scheduling and attending production meetings, location scouting, audition/casting meetings, set design meetings and script reads/rehearsals with the talents.

Job Summary

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Assistant to support pioneering research in molecular microbial ecology and infectious disease evolution under the guidance of A/Prof Yann Boucher at the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE). This position will focus on the ecology, evolution, and genomics of enteric bacterial pathogens, with an emphasis on understanding pathogen life cycles, adaptation, and survival in human and environmental reservoirs. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing culturomics approaches to the study of microbiomes and support the discovery of new bacterial species related to key pathogens such as Vibrio cholerae. This role will suit an individual passionate about microbiology, pathogen ecology, and experimental evolution.

• Conduct laboratory-based research on the microbial ecology and evolution of enteric pathogens, with a focus on pathogen life cycles, antimicrobial resistance acquisition, and virulence factors.
• Assist in the isolation, characterization, and genomic analysis of bacterial species associated with the “cholerae clade” and other enteric pathogens.
• Support culturomics studies to examine microbial transmission dynamics between human and environmental systems.
• Collaborate with team members on experiments that investigate pathogen evolution over human timescales, particularly in response to environmental pressures and host interactions.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Assistant to support pioneering research in molecular microbial ecology and infectious disease evolution under the guidance of A/Prof Yann Boucher at the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE). This position will focus on the ecology, evolution, and genomics of enteric bacterial pathogens, with an emphasis on understanding pathogen life cycles, adaptation, and survival in human and environmental reservoirs. We are seeking a Research Assistant to support ongoing research in murine models. This role involves assisting in studies on mouse models to validate discoveries in haematological malignancies, with a focus on preclinical validation of novel therapeutic targets, therapeutic resistance mechanisms, and biomarker identification. This is a hands-on laboratory position requiring proficiency in animal handling, genotyping, and familiarity with experimental protocols involving mouse models.

Job Description

• Animal Model Handling:
  Conduct routine handling and care of laboratory mice, ensuring adherence to ethical and welfare standards.
  Support experimental setups in mouse models to study disease pathogenesis, progression, and therapeutic responses in haematologic malignancies.
  Perform injections, tissue sampling, and necropsies as required for experiments.
• Data Collection and Analysis:
