As our resident Social Media and Design Intern, you’ll be partaking in the launch of our 3rd brand and seeing it from concept to launch. In addition, you’ll be thoroughly involved in this year’s Christmas catering - a highly anticipated, but thrilling and rewarding season.

• 3-month internship with option of Full Time conversion
• $3600 reimbursement upon confirmation of Full Time position

Job Description

• Support in the idea generation for content
• Manage the company’s socials (tiktok and instagram) respond to DMs, comments
• Conduct and edit videos and photography based on the content calendar
• Design and edit marketing materials (social media posts, images, mailers)
• Update the website with edited images and menu accordingly

Requirements

• A good eye for design
• Video editing software (Capcut / DaVinci etc.)
• Photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva)
• Knowledge of food is good to have
• An attitude of learning new things, and ability to multitask and time manage
• A creative eye for the social world
• Openness to work during weekends for shoot, during the high key season prior to launch day

Graphic and Motion Design Intern Job Scope and duties:

· Creations of various product packaging and logos

· Execute designs and expand on conceptual knowledge to a range of branding applications across print, collaterals, packaging, signage, digital, social media content formats, etc.

· Update website and e-commerce marketplaceswith videosand event text, images, sponsor logos etc

· Design banners, header boards for retail stores and online platforms.

· Create short video clips for products or promotions to post on social medias

· Develop Social Media Content concepts and design look & feel of social media content across various marketing channels.

· Support marketing campaign planning and execution

· Understand and translate brainstorming ideas and requirements in design concepts and storyboards

Job Responsibilities:

(1) Main Duties

• Outline client design objectives.
• Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
• Source materials and products included in plans.
• Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
• Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
• Utilize computer applications in the design process.
• Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and invoice billing.
• To work overtime if required
• Assist other interior designers with site errands

(2) Project cost

• Determine the cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
• Handle ordering of materials (Plywood, laminate, hardware, etc)
• Liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers (electrician/plumber) on quote requisition
• Assist in checking monthly invoices to Statement of Accounts

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Architecture/ Interior Design or equivalent
• Entry level candidates are welcome
• The candidate must be competent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop or other design programs and Microsoft Office
• The candidate has to be proficient in both "English" & "Chinese" in terms of verbal and writing to handle queries and concerns from English and Chinese speaking sub-contractors/suppliers in regards with the interior design related matters.

Working Hours:

• 5 working days in a week (9 am to 6 pm on weekdays)
