Senior Pastry Chef

Roles & Responsibility

• Responsible for assisting Executive Pastry Chef & Pastry Chef in daily operation works
• Responsible for providing day-to-day central kitchen duties, advice to a brigade of chefs

About the Company:
The nature of business of our client is Construction and Civil Engineering company supporting the Oil & Gas and Chemical Processing Industry. Responsibilities:

• Managing and processing all payroll-related activities, including updating the time management system, leave administration and statutory reporting.
• Monitor compensation and benefits processes such as salary revisions and bonus payments
• Handle the application, renewal, and cancellation of employment passes.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives, including organizing employee training sessions and updating the training matrix.
• Communicate with dormitory operators and the company’s dormitory in charge to address worker needs, including arrivals and departures.
• Being familiar with MOM’s ruling on Building and Process sector work permit application protocol.
• Manage government-related tasks, including IR21, tax clearance, government, and training grants.
• Execute additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder in relevant field.
• Experience working in Civil Engineering and/or Construction sector would be advantageous.
• Experience in processing the full cycle of payroll and reporting payroll tax.
• Well-versed in Employment Act and Income Tax regulations.
