Job Description & Requirements

Duties include responsible for facilitating and supervising day to day operations at a store and work along side

with store managers, dispathcers and drivers effectively to make sure entire operation run smoothly and drivers

able to achive delivery on time (DOT)

1. Learn and familiarize dedicated transport management system

2. Assign and optimize best routes for driver to ensure utmost optimal path are allocating for each drivers

3. Allocating task for dispatchers and make sure they execute task accodingly

4. When in need, you will need to fill in despatcher role including

4.1 Scanning QR code

4.2 Collecting totes and cooler box from basement to dispatch area

4.3 Loading goods from dispatch area to loading bay at basement for drivers to collect

5. Monitoring and ensure each driver load all the goods to van before leaving for delivery

6. Ensure all failed delivery from driver return to the person in charge at the store

7. Communiate and sync with other store managers and person in charge on dedicated communication platform to ensure operation run smoothly

8. Maintain dispatcher job results by coaching, planning, monitoring and appraising job results

Job Description

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the condominium
Supervise and co-ordinate all maintenance and site staff
Engage maintenance, repairs and improvement to the condominium
Manage contracts and performance of service providers according to contractual requirements and/or government regulations
Manage expenditure , budgets, financial records and vendor contracts
Ensure compliance with Building Maintenance & Strata Management Act (BMSMA), relevant laws, government rules & regulations and policies
Prepare agendas, minutes recording and convene and attend all councils meetings & AGM.

Job Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Estate Management, Building or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in condominium management
Mature and independent with the ability to lead team
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in MS office and IT Savvy
Knowledge of BMSMA and understanding of general building defects will be a plus
Diligent, well organised and committed to excellence

Overall Job Purpose: 

Responsibility for underwriting performance of assigned team, staff management, motivation, and development.  To provide underwriting, technical support, assist in the development and management of a profitable business according to the Company business plan. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for underwriting Members in Southeast Asia, Japan, and Australasia.
• Manage the development of the business within assigned areas of responsibility and identify areas of additional service that will add value to the Member/Club relationship within agreed parameters of existing and potential business.
• Handle underwriting tasks in line with company procedures.
• To initiate loss prevention action where necessary.
• Produce required Management Reports as necessary.
• To operate effective risk management and credit controls.
• For implementation of Underwriting policy within authorised parameters.
• Provide effective communication of underwriting issues within the assigned underwriting team. To allocate monitoring and supervision of underwriting work to ensure that service levels are met.
• Ensure all members of the assigned underwriting team adhere to company wide operating procedures.
• Assist and help to develop team knowledge and skills – CPD.
• Conduct annual appraisals of direct reports (with Head of Underwriting for Syndicate)
• Assist the Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Head of Underwriting, and Chief Commercial Officer in identifying and planning business targets and to execute on the same, building the book of business in line with the Company aims.
• Liaise closely with existing Members, prospective targets, and the broking community in advancing the Company aims.
• Encourage and support an environment where a process of continuous improvement can flourish and foster the Company culture.
• Ensure that all files confidential records, are maintained in accordance with company policy.
• Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Travel will be required as necessary both regionally and to our global office network.
• Representation at industry events and speaking requirements where necessary.

Person Specification:  

•  Proven Underwriting management experience gained from working at another P&I Club and/or marine insurer, marine insurance broker or shipowner.
• The ability to mentor and inspire team members, including the ability to develop underwriting expertise, training, and development.
• Outstanding communication skills, including negotiating, presenting, and reporting (written and verbal)
• You will be a thought leader with the ability to acquire new business, develop existing business relationships both internally and externally.
• Be aware of current market issues, well-connected and able to build relationships with brokers and Members.
• Degree educated.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore preferred or alternatively a willingness to relocate.
