19. Any other operational duties

We are hiring for our client in the Manufacturing industry : Material Planning Manager

Kallang Sector area

830am to 6pm Mon to Fri

$6k to $8k depending on experience , salary is negotiable

Responsibilities :

• Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs
• Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions
• Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place
• Ensure that professional and consistent materials planning processes are applied across the business
• Lead production team of process/ industrial engineers, supervisors, coordinators and direct staffs
• Overall PIC for production's output and quality/ schedule and upkeeping
• Lead improvement projects for production to improve quality and productivity
• Guide and train production subordinates
• Any adhoc duties as assigned
