Audit Assistant / Associate

Job Description:

• Work on audit and related assignments under the supervision of audit seniors, managers, and partners, to ensure that these assignments are executed, documented and concluded based on the relevant professional standards.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and schedules that are to be delivered to the clients and other external parties.
• Harness technology to gather and analyze data
• Work as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support and maintaining communication with colleagues on an effective and efficient basis.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Act in accordance with professional standards when providing assurance services

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification under the ACCA and ICAEW schemes
• Proactive, committed and a team player
• Possess initiative and ability to work independently
• No experience required

Our client

An ISO certified additional and alteration (A&A) work contractor, integrated facilities management service provider offering various types of professional services including facilities management, Maintenance of building facilities n Facility consultation service.

About this role

You will be reporting to senior facilities operations manager and task with important contract management and facilities operations for A&A project and acmv project

Job Scope :

• Plan and prepare monthly&E work schedules in accordance with the contractual work scope and timelines related to all M&E services works
• Manage all internal and external technical personnel.
• Reviews contracts' specifications to ensure cost effectiveness and competitiveness.
• Attend to operational emergencies are attended in prompt manner
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the schedule planned and project progressed according to timeline
• Excellent communicator as point of contact with all parties .
• Familiar with Workplace Health and Safety Act and be able to provide advice on Health & Safety matters.
• To Conduct regular check and audit to ensure all parties adhere to safety procedures.

Requirement:

• Degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering / Building / Facilities / Estate Management or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 4 years in similar position with relevant working experience in handling commercial /government building.
• Proven project track record of IFM contracts management (pls provide at least 5 project name)
• Differentiator-Fire Safety Manager, Safety Manager or Project Manager Certification of Green mark Manager will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, business action plans formulation and budget control processes.
• Establishing key assumptions and coordinate with subsidiaries on budget target.
• Perform critical and in-dept analysis of the Profit Centre's operating performance.
• Prepare materials for board and management such as business updates.
• Prepare management reports for stakeholders.
• Work closely with Group Controlling team and subsidiaries' finance team to improve the reporting processes to enhance the quality in term of timeliness and accuracy.
• Provide valuable financial / non-financial information and suggestions to drive for financial excellency.
• Establish financial and non-financial database to facilitate multiple dimension analysis.
• Prepare strategic benchmarking for Profit Centre.
• Any other ad-hoc matters assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / commodity industry.
• CPA / ACCA / CFA candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experienced with complex budget and financial model.
• Proficient bilingual written and verbal communication skills as one needs to manage our English and Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Analytical and attention to detail.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Keen interest in digitalization and automation to streamline processes.
