• Assist the Head of Internal Audit in discharging his responsibilities by performing independent review to ensure :-
•  Soundness and adequacy of governance, risk management and internal control system
• Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and guidelines.
• Complete compliance and regulatory audit assignments in a timely manner

Summary of Responsibilities:

ACCOUNT PAYABLE DUTIES

• Ensure all invoices are checked for accuracy and properly approved by various personnel. When making payment, ensure that all documents are properly perforated.
• Accurately coding of the GL accounts.
• File statements and invoices alphabetically and reconcile accounts as soon as statements arrive.

REVENUE AUDIT - ROOMS, FOOD AND BEVERAGE DUTIES

• Balancing Rooms, Spa, Banquet, Food & Beverage daily sales summary submitted by the Operation team.
• Ensure all the credit cards, cash, direct billing, city ledger, gift card, room charges are balanced according to the Cashier Summary for all revenue centers.
• Auditing of Banquet Event Order for completeness and accuracy of Banquet revenue posting.
• Prepare daily Staff & Promotions summary.

Main Complexity / Critical Issues in the Job

• Assisting colleagues in area which require assistance whenever help is needed
• Covering duties when colleagues are on leave 
• Performing duties of other colleagues whenever assistance is needed
• Handling quries from other departments or other general quries

Requirements:

• At least GCE “O” Level 
• Clerical experience/Accounting Knowlegdge
• Proficient in English
• Any relevant certificates 
• Microsoft Office Knowledge
• Good attitude, alert and able to make good and quick decisions
• Good communication skills
• Able to pay attention to details and perform assignments accurately 

AML Transaction Monitoring

• To review and investigate system-generated or any alerts, to determine the next course of action
• Conduct further investigations, if necessary, by engaging relevant stakeholders to obtain the required information to ensure proper closure
• To close the alerts promptly and maintain proper documentation on the rationale of the closure
• To assist the Team Lead for key reporting to management and various stakeholders

Other function(s)

• Work closely and support other AML compliance teams to strengthen and further mitigate residual AML/CFT risks
• Work with other business units to foster good working relationship to increase the level of AML/CFT awareness
• Perform any task or participate in projects as required by management

Job Purpose:
The Clinical Governance Officer (CGO) is responsible for ensuring the clinical services provided by the healthcare institution adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The CGO plays a pivotal role in implementing and monitoring clinical governance frameworks, policies, and procedures as per the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines and the Healthcare Services Act 2020 in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Healthcare Services Act 2020 - General Regulations 2021, Regulation 15(1)(a).

1. Clinical Governance and Oversight:
o Provide clinical governance and technical oversight over the licensable healthcare service or specified service.
o Assist the licensee in the day-to-day management of the clinical and technical aspects of the licensable healthcare service or specified service.

2. Policy Implementation and Review:
o Ensure the implementation and regular review of policies and systems for clinical governance, clinical risk management, effective quality management systems, and any other clinical and technical related matters.
o Identify and remedy any weaknesses or inadequacies related to clinical or technical aspects, informing the licensee and proposing preventive measures.

3. Compliance and Standards:
o Ensure that personnel involved in clinical or technical aspects comply with appropriate policies and processes concerning clinical and technical standards.
o Maintain close supervision, adequate training, and regular competency assessments of personnel to enable them to perform their work effectively and safely.

4. Risk Management:
o Detect and address in a timely manner any risks affecting patient safety, welfare, or continuity of care.
o Immediately notify the licensee of any matter that may affect compliance with any license condition.

5. Availability and Accessibility:
o Be available to handle matters requiring the CGO's attention or appoint suitably qualified personnel if unavailable.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance program in line with regional and international regulations such as MAS regulation, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), data protection, Sanctions and industry-specific regulations.

• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and ensure the organization’s policies and procedures are updated accordingly.

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

• Act as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and external auditors.

• Liaise and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and manage any regulatory inquiries and reporting obligations for the organization in the region.

• Monitor and report on compliance risks and issues to regulatory authorities, senior management and the board of directors.

• Coordinate with group compliance teams to align compliance objectives, processes, and goals, ensuring consistent practices across the organization.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, audits, and investigations.

• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, promoting a culture of integrity, compliance, and transparency throughout the organization.
