Review the operations of the Engineering Department to ensure the quality of broadcast operations meet industry standards.

Remain up-to-date with outdoor broadcast technology and equipment.

Guide the Assistant Engineers to read technical (Auto CAD) engineering drawings and plan for their training where needed.

Ensure procedure for video equipment testing and preparation is in place.

Ensure adequate processes are in place for communication / escalation of technical related problems that arise during a project.

Keep Engineering environment (Warehouse, Engineering Room and desks) clean, functional, safe and presentable.

Ensure compliance of engineering procedures with Health & Safety guidelines.

Supervise and schedule maintenance of specific categories of broadcast equipment to ensure the equipment are fully functional and well maintained (internally and externally clean/dust-free).

Lead and manage the team of Automation Engineers in APAC to execute Engineering, Innovations/Technologies application and Automation adaptation in existing operations, Retrofit and New Business, in order to drive efficient deliverables with commercially viable of business improvement & renewals aligned with organization’s strategy and targets

• Promote, leverage and facilitate the team with replications of best engineering & automation practices across EA Network, as well as address the technologies/automation knowledge sharing to other function teams
• Align with APAC/Global Contract Logistics objectives and targets, collaborate with VP of Solution Design & Engineering APAC, Global Engineering & Automation Leadership, and other functional leads as necessary to define specifications and act as a counterpart to our global supplier partners for automation

Engineering and Automation for Continuous Improvements:

• Guide and Ensure Engineering Project Tasks:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements, communicate data requirements and methodology.
  Analyze detailed data to provide processes and workflows determination, position responsibilities and system flows in conjunction with physical material flows, identify tactical recommendations

Education

Related Experience

• Experience in modern warehouse and distribution, supply chain design (automation and other modern warehousing
• innovation (robotics, digitalisation) is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years’ professional experience in Logistics, warehousing or 3PL industries, preferably in an international logistics service environment.
• 10+ years of relevant working experience of solution design/automation/process engineering in the logistics and supply chain industry.

Technical Skills

About the Team

The Contract Logistics Engineering & Automation team is responsible for diagnosis and reengineering process to work out the improvements and with innovations/automations application as necessary on Contract Logistics operations for our customers in APAC and all over the world. One of major aspects is the application of updated process through engineering and innovative technologies including but not limited to automation and robotization in both new business opportunities and existing operations.

Responsibilities

Lead Engineering & Automation projects of assigned markets to support business improvements and renewals:

Qualifications

Education

• Experienced in project management for IT Infrastructure initiatives, scripting, system admin capabilities, service automation and related technologies.
• Knowledge of actual development and Hands-on administration on ServiceNow Platform. Certification in ServiceNow ITSM CAS, CAD or CIS preferred
• Knowledge in scripting on Json, Python or Javascript on Monitoring / Orchestration platforms, Splunk, ServiceNow or APM tool will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge on network, IT DevOps technologies, Linux, Wintel, VMware and Cloud technologies (AWS / Azure)
• Knowledge and experience in DevOps and Agile
• Responsive to dynamic environment
• Effective & Excellent Skills in Communication (both written and spoken) as well as Vendor and People/Relationship Management
