Key Job Objective and Job Responsibility:

To properly discharge responsibilities in undertaking Singapore Office general office administration function in order to ensure the facilitation and provision of effective, efficient and reliable administrative logistical support for company with a view to achieving the company’s growth & objectives.

1. To take up the Administration function of the Singapore Office with the objective of providing effective, efficient and reliable administrative support for all divisions / departments of the company.

5. To prepare and submit the administrative expenses annual budget for Singapore office in order for the general administration expenses to be incorporated into the overall group company Establishment budget; and to monitor the budget control in co-ordination with all divisions / departments.

6. To manage housing and hotel accommodation arrangements in Singapore, including sourcing the best possible quotations, for visitors and expatriates of the Group.

7. To manage the review of contracts and leases from equipment and service providers, office premises and accommodation providers, etc. for Singapore office.

8. To provide support and coordinate for the company events.

9. To handle and support visa applications and administration work

10. To assist and report to Manager, to provide necessary support in collaborating with the Administration team of all Group company offices.

11. To perform additional duties to meet both the company & department’s needs as desired.

Requirements:

• At least 2-5 years working experience in administration role

• Work independently as well as team player

• The role requires to coordinate and support counterpart in China and Hong Kong

• Good communication skills and able to initiate for improvement

About the job:

• Manage and lead the Service Desk and staffs to provide 1st level technical support.
• Act as a further escalation point for unresolved or escalated cases and provide guidance to the team.

Main purpose of the job  

The primary role of a Global Category Manager – Marketing Communications is to lead and implement procurement strategies, vision, and governance across the organization. This position heads the Procurement team, fostering unity across regions and promoting the sharing of best practices and knowledge. Alongside adhering to established governance, policies, and processes, the role involves protecting the company's assets and reputation through effective internal control systems, procedures, and legal compliance. The role is also responsible for driving sustainable procurement and procurement innovation strategies, as well as creating and implementing category strategies. Responsibilities include executing strategic sourcing plans to maximize business value, building and enhancing stakeholder relationships across all procurement activities, and managing supplier partnerships. The Global Category Manager also manages, and tracks plans and budgets against objectives, key value drivers, and related KPIs. Risk management, with a focus on price volatility, supplier stability, and product or service availability, is a key part of the role. The ultimate goal of the role is to contribute to operational excellence in Procurement and drive continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with Asahi's overall strategy and external benchmarks. 

Accountabilities and deliverables   

1.           Implement Procurement purpose, vision, strategies and governance.  

2.           Lead Procurement team overseeing the definition and execution of functional goals. 

3.           Promote one team spirit between all regions to enable sharing of best practices and knowledge. 

4.           Support Global Procurement People strategy and culture (incl. DEI, employee engagement and well-being). 

5.           Self-manage adherence to defined governance, policies, and processes. 

6.           Protect all company’s assets by putting in place internal control system and procedures. 

7.           Protect reputation of Asahi by following applicable legislation. 

8.           Drive Sustainable Procurement (incl. CSR) and Procurement innovation strategies and projects. 

9.           Create and implement category strategies. 

10.         Execute strategic sourcing plans to maximize the value for the business. 

11.         Build and enhance strong stakeholder relationship across all Procurement activities. 

12.         Develop and maintain strong partnership with suppliers including performance and quality assurance. 

13.         Manage and track plans and budgets including objectives, key value drivers and related KPIs. 

14.         Risk management focusing on extended agenda: price volatility, supplier stability, and product or service availability. 

15.         Contribute to achieving operational excellence for Procurement, including its processes and systems. 

16.         Drive continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks.  

Qualification criteria  

•          University degree, preferably in Business related field (master's degree preferred)   
•          Proficiency in English 
•          7+ years of professional experience, whereof 4+ years in procurement of Marketing Communications
•          International experience from multinational company 
•          Experience from an above-market role 
•          3+ years of proven managerial experience 
•          Procurement platform/-s experience  
•         Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite

JOB SUMMARY

• The job holder will be required to perform an independent validation of credit risk, treasury and marketing models that are being used for various purposes across the bank.
• Validation tasks include qualitative and quantitative review of various model components and then complete the validation report. Assessment of the model components against relevant regulatory requirements (such as EBA IRRBB, Credit IRB, IFRS9 or ICAAP) will also be required. The job holder will need to have strong hands on / technical experience in quantitative / risk modelling and/or model validation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform an independent validation of new and existing credit risk, treasury and marketing models.
• Qualitative review of model development process including underlying assumptions & theoretical basis, including assessment of model components against relevant regulatory requirements
• Quantitative assessment of model performance via data evaluation and statistical testing.
• Documentation of validation findings and communication of results to senior management and presentation to relevant committees.
• Manage relationship with stakeholders on model issues, achieving suitable resolutions.
• Manage and complete the model validation from end to end, meeting the planned timelines and required standards.
• Supervise junior members of GMV team
• Recommend improvements in the models
• Review regulatory requirements and industry practice such as EBA IRRBB, Credit IRB and IFRS9 rules.
• Assist Head of Model Validation in addressing concerns or questions relating to the models.

Qualification

• Graduate level (or equivalent) qualifications in statistics, banking, finance, econometrics, mathematics or related quant field.
• 4+ years of hands on experience in quantitative modelling and/or model validation with focus on credit risk models, marketing models and treasury models
• Extensive knowledge of model-related regulations and model applications including IRRBB, IRB and IFRS9 and general model risk management such as PRA SS 1/23
• Extensive knowledge of credit risk portfolio management, liquidity risk and applications of models for marketing and recommendation systems
• Ability to manage a project end to end, strong project management skill set
• Solid programming skill such as Matlab, SAS, R or Python with hands on experience in credit risk modelling
