Job description:

• Cooking utensils and equipment setup for kitchen, for e.g. pots, pans and kitchen scales etc
• Ensure that food can be prepared in a timely manner
• Supervise or assist other cooks and assist if required
• Required to modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduced salt, reduced oil etc.)
• Observe food stock levels and place orders when necessary
• Ensure freshness of food and discard expired/ spoilt items
• Experiment with recipes and suggest new dishes/ cuisines
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in a kitchen area

Requirements:

• Familiar with Chinese Herb / Confinement knowledge
• Possess good time management abilities
• Good knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Well acquainted with sanitation regulations

JOB SCOPE

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimally GCE ‘O’ Level, Nitec or higher.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Rotational shifts including public holidays and overnight shifts, depending on operation needs.

• Able to work in front of computer and sit for extended periods of time.

• Periodic walk through; Validation of equipment status, amber lights check.
• Decommissioned of hardware inventories end of life and SME directions.
• Manual inspection of rack space under direction of SME.
• Verify Rack location in the DC, Potential server deployment rebooting of equipment and power cycle under direction of SME.
• Restart Hardware after failure under direction of SME.
• Perform Schedule Start up and shutdown hardware components.
• Connect cables from Rack to Server under direction of SME.
• Configure the RIB/ILO even after reboot.
• Perform Network troubleshooting.
• Perform RAID- Related Maintenance and troubleshooting after a drive replacement under direction of SME.
• Transport failed disk drives to a secure storage area pending eradication and return to vendor.
