Team Summary

The Card Product group manages the deployment and optimization of Visa’s core products base consisting of Credit, Debit and Prepaid payments solutions globally. The team is also responsible for the development and deployment of innovation across this product suite. To do this, we work in close partnership with Visa clients and key internal and external stakeholders across the globe. We are also the team responsible for leading the transition of conventional card-based solutions onto digital form factors, ensuring Visa payments solutions remain the market-leading way for consumers to spend their money and manage their payments across Visa’s global regions.

Director, Credit Product Management (AP) does at Visa:

Reporting to the Head of Core Product Management, AP, the role-holder will be responsible for initiatives across three broad areas of responsibility:

Credit Product best practices, leading identification, development and execution of Credit product best practices to drive improvements in usage, activation and preference for Visa amongst issuers and consumers

Drive credit innovation, through leadership for the AP region, of initiatives within the Visa 2030 strategy to expand Credit across traditional credit card issuance and the provision of credit outside of credit card issuance

Facilitate Visa thought-leadership, working closely with in-market teams in AP to develop a clear point of view on the direction of credit, working closely with Global counterparts. The role-holder will lead a small team of direct reports and will work closely with in-market colleagues across AP, in other Visa regions and in the Global team to develop end-to-end consumer experiences that drive client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and make us an enabler of superior value propositions for digitally-enabled consumers.

An essential part of Visa’s success is the establishment and application of rules and standards, to ensure a uniform, reliable point-of-sale UX, both online and offline. The Director will be responsible for efficient administration of these Rules and Standards as they pertain to Credit Products, ensuring that the Rules are fit-for-purpose, while also ensuring their efficient operation and administration.

The role-holder will be responsible for the identification, development, commercialization and launch of new ways to grow the consumer credit business as part of Visa’s 2030 corporate strategy, working closely with in-market teams and with global counterparts as well as Visa issuers to expand “credit-card” issuance, as well as newer ways of efficiently facilitating the provision of unsecured credit.

As part of this role, the Director will also be responsible for facilitating the collation, analysis and dissemination of best practices and recommendations for optimal Credit Product performance both internally within Visa, and as a thought-leader externally, working closely with Visa Consulting & Analytics.

You will need to be highly collaborative and will be the key interface between the market teams and Visa’s global team to ensure our platforms drive product differentiation, consumer activation and engagement

As well as working with in-market, client-facing teams, your team will work closely with in market colleagues, Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, Pricing, Legal and Compliance.

Consumer credit spans most life-stages and income segments in all Visa’s markets from entry-level credit products through to solutions designed to meet the needs of Ultra-High Net Worth consumers and as such is a key platform for revenue generation and consumer engagement for Visa and our clients. As the largest of Visa’s solutions sets, Core Products offer Visa the most visible and impactful opportunity to drive digital payments enablement and thus is a key part of our digital migration strategy.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• 12-15+ years of experience and at least 8 – 10 years of experience in the payments industry, preferably in product development, product management & strategy
• Experience in financial services, fintechs, telecom, retail and ecommerce will be an advantage
• Proven experience in P&L ownership & sharp understanding of macroeconomics, consumer behavior, product operations, business processes
• Established credentials in delivering product & business solutions and keen interest in payment technology & innovation

Purpose of Job

Job Description

1. Provide support to the KM Team and Directorates on the housekeeping of documents, files and emails in in-house system for migration to Secured Repo (S repo)
2. Pre-migration to S Repo e.g. provides advice to Directorates during reclassification process, work with stakeholders to map/rename existing folders (based on their contents) to National Archives of Singapore (NAS) approved taxonomy, splitting of high resolution (e.g. TIFF format) files/documents based on upload file size limitation in S Repo
3. Post migration to S Repo e.g. work with stakeholders to move documents, files and emails into the existing NAS approved taxonomy and assist Secure Repo Agency Admin in the creation of new folders in S repo, set-up/verification of access rights in S repo
4. Work with Directorates to create new taxonomies for secret records e.g. provide advice to KM reps on the completion of Series Appraisal forms for submission to NAS (include series appraisals for Confidential records where applicable)
5. Liaise and follow up with NAS on new series appraisals (include series appraisals for Confidential records where applicable)
6. To curate and customise KM briefing materials on StellarNet/S Repo in relation to PMOSG’s context
7. Work with stakeholders to develop any Change Management materials as required for StellarNet/S Repo
8. Post StellarNet implementation follow ups e.g. surveys roll out
