Main Objective:

3. Participate in healthcare professional medical education and training programs.

b. Provide input for healthcare professional medical education courses and single day lab agendas.

c. Teach the safe and effective use of Arthrex products and procedure-specific surgical and non­ surgical techniques using Arthrex instruments.

e. Participate as a liaison with Arthrex business partners and their representatives to assist with organization and implementation of their local medical education and surgical skills lab training p programs.

4. Assist with reviewing written and digital material developed by other Arthrex departments to advise on clinical accuracy of these materials.

5. May supervise other employees in the future.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor' s degree or equivalent in one of the bio-medical sciences or related fields is required.

Experience as a surgical nurse, surgical technician, medical doctor, doctor of osteopathic medicine or orthopedic surgeon, working in orthopedic surgery field is preferred.

Work Setting: Fully On-site (5 times a week on-site)

Work Shift Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Happening in 2 Phases)

Phase 1 - First 3 to 6 Months (Starts 1pm to 10pm)

Phase 2 - After 3 to 6 Months (Starts 4pm to 1am)

Shift Allowance:

Phase 1 - SGD 350/month

Phase 2 - SGD 700/month

Discover Impactful Work:

Performs duties and training to acquire the skills required for sample and standard handling in support of the laboratory. Provides support to Sample Coordinator and performs administrative tasks in the Sample Management department. Follows SOPs, applicable client procedures, and fulfills laboratory requests with modest direct supervision.

A day in the Life:

• Performs a variety of simple inventory tracking procedures (receipt, check-in, login, labeling, inventory, transport, check-out, etc.) and administrative tasks in support of laboratory operations.
• Communicates status of tasks to supervisor and/or appropriate laboratory staff.
• Trains on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements.
• Supports response to environmental unit alarms and may participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Performs daily work assignments accurately, timely and in a safe manner.

Keys to Success:

Education

• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
• Technical positions may require a certificate

Experience

• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
• Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Responsibilities also cover managing medications, maintaining inventory, handling medical records, and providing both clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations. Additionally, the job includes scheduling patient appointments, booking referrals, and managing patient inquiries. You'll also assist surgeons during procedures and carry out any other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Nitec or Diploma in Nursing and above
• At least 2 years of working experience in clinic setting
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Preferred Nurses have experience in assisting doctor with procedure
