THE ROLE

Contribute to day-to-day account implementation, supporting other team members in ensuring the efficient delivery of the communications plan.

The role will see you supporting with account, media and influencer management as well contributing to shoots, events and new business pitches. There will be opportunities to flex your creative writing skills for a range of assets and mediums, from press releases to video scripts and social media posts.

It involves:

ACCOUNT SUPPORT

Client handling

• Attend client meetings, draft agendas and contact reports
• Keep up-to-date record of forthcoming editorial coverage
• Support with compiling monthly or project reports
• Proactively put forward suggestions/ideas to account teams

Media monitoring

• Daily media monitoring
• Proactively monitor and flag trends or coverage from clients’ competitors, market, or industry

Media and influencer management

• Build media/influencer relations skills and pitch stories/partnerships
• Update and manage media/influencer databases

Copywriting

• Research and write press releases and marketing copy i.e. newsletters, advertorials, social media copy

Shoots and events

• Attend and support at video and/or photoshoots
• Support with event coordination including liaising and negotiating with suppliers, assembling media packs, arranging logistics and team diaries, whilst keeping teams and clients up to date

NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Undertake research to support new business pitch decks
• Attend and contribute to brainstorms and planning sessions

• Support the Company on general marketing, brand and communications, admin requirements
• Media monitoring, media clippings, PR reports
• Market and background research for brand projects
• Draft press releases and be involved with press engagements, press follow-up
• Work with team members to manage the social media accounts of clients – Facebook, Instagram
• General supporting role to Gastro-Sense team members

About the Role:

You are expected to lead the implementation of our internal communication strategy, tactical plans and budget in line with Global Communications’ 2024 deliverables. You are also expected to recommend strategies, produce material and mobilise regional teams to execute communication plans to support and promote cross-regional departmental initiatives.

This position is based in Singapore.

Key Accountabilities:

• Serve as a day-to-day cross functional partner to supporting functions to ensure employees are kept informed of key organisational updates.
• Lead and coordinate a cross-regional internal communication network to drive consistent internal communication campaigns and messages across locations.
• Edit, seek approval for message and execute day-to-day local, regional and global email communications.
• Coach and manage senior specialist in Singapore to support internal communications needs.
• Oversee the management of our Internal Communications Corporate Calendar and planning for 2024.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 7 – 10 years of proven experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field wherein the role required you to regularly interface with C-suite/senior management.
• Possess experience playing a strategic communications advisory role in a culture transformation programme highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal writing skills to develop effective messages, tailoring for different audiences taking account of national, local and cultural sensitivities.
• Strategically think and have the ability to align communication efforts with business goals.
• Strong project management skills and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamental support in all aspects of client service, client relationship building and account maintenance to assist the business activities of Relationship Managers
• Respond to client inquiries on account documentation, account activity, statement information, securities transfers, general private banking product and/or service information
