- Implement marketing plan consistent with the Event Strategy; aimed at improving market share and achieving objectives of strategic event goals.
- Develop and craft all activities of the marketing plan of the Event and achieve the objectives set for the activities.
Detailed job roles:
General
- Day-to-day marketing administration.
- Assist to manage and monitor third party agency/project teams, by proactively gather and provide input for regular reviews, to ensure deliverables are meeting set targets, timeline and budget.
- Assist to manage and develop databases; to maximise its function to achieve business needs.
- Stay up to date with the trend of technology in marketing, social media and other internal marketing channel and assets.
- Business-to-business marketing; assist to develop, maintain and manage close relationships with managed partners, media, sponsors, exhibitors, buyers and key attendees.
- Constantly upgrade his/her knowledge of core business, marketing technology, market intelligence, leadership and communication skills.
Marketing Strategy and Timeline
- Develop and craft all activities of the marketing plan of the Event and achieve the objectives set for the activities.
- Define advertising objectives, recommend choice of media and allocate resources to ensure advertising campaigns are effective, economical and appropriate for intended audience.
- Plan, execute and own overall digital performance marketing strategy (including but not limited to website development, SEM, social media, SEO, eDM) and be responsible for all marketing KPIs performance.
- Generate customer experience insights, strategy formulation, lead transformation management, roadmap and planning, analytics/insight generation – towards pre- and post-show.
Content Development and Maintenance
- Create and execute marketing content, editorial and marketing plans for social media channels; including Above the Line (ATL) and Below the Line (BTL) promotion materials (website, eDM, advertisements, brochures, LinkedIn).
- Manage the designate social media account for event promotion and ensure postings are done on a regular basis.
- Ensure that information on such platforms is kept up to date.
- Ensure event information are posted and kept up to date on other external promotional platforms.
Creatives
- Work with third party creative agency to develop the event key visual, logo and branding and the subsequent KV adaptations required by the event.
Media-related
- Partnerships – Identify suitable media channels to secure partnerships with paid/barter entitlements for event promotion.
- Media Management – Work with third-party PR agency to execute the media plan and manage media before, during and after the event.
Requirements:
- Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in event marketing.
- Solid understanding of both online and offline channels.
- Preferably with good understanding of public relations scope of work, including media management.
- Able to perform high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
- Proven success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through completion.
- Proven success in ATL & BTL development and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Strong in marketing data analytics.
- Worked in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organisation.
