Site Quantity Surveyor

• Working Days: 5 Day A Week (Monday – Friday), Saturday may need to work half day depends on project (Can claim OT)
• Working Hours: 8:30am -5:30pm
• Office at City Hall, Working location at Island wide, current project at west side
• $2800 to $3800, if senior up to $5000

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying.

Job Scope

• Reports to Project General Manager/Project Manager
• Quantity taking off, Study pre-contract files
• Identify specified or equivalent materials
• Study pre-contract quotations and to obtain new quotations for works
• Check availability of stock of materials and their delivery time
• Check/sourcing of quotations, clarify, and assist in the negotiation with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Reconcile quantities in contract and those claimed by sub-contractors and suppliers
• Monitor, measure, and price variation works
• Prepare periodic progress valuation
• Check progress claims submitted by sub-contractors
• Study all site instructions issued and advise Project Manager of time and cost implications
• Monitor the expenses of the project and advise the Project Manager on the financial status
• Brief site staff on procedure of recording and confirming oral instructions

• Carry out project site supervision
• Assist Project Engineer on site
• Liaise and manage sub-contractors from all trades
• Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with drawings, designs, specifications and all authorities regulations.
• Daily updates of work progress to Project Manager/ Engineer
• A good team player and willing to be stationed at the site office.
• Assist inhandling and receiving of materials & equipment on site
• Arrange and plan workers working schedule weekly / monthly
• Take daily site minute

Job Description

· Handle Accounts Payable entries

· Checking monthly supplier statements and reconciliation

· Clear queries from business units and suppliers

· Email payment advice to suppliers

· Check and process staffs’ claims

· Ensure adherence to the accounting processes and policies

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Only for Singaporean

· Experience in accounting, good knowledge of Excel

· Ability to work independently

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
