• Assist in the maintenance of the Singapore or entity-level AML policies, procedures and AML Compliance program, as well as the annual Risk Analysis and the coordination of updates to Regional/Global AML.
• Assist in validation of the AML Monitoring parameters and Transaction Screening databases and being the approval point for client third party payments.
• Assist in the review of New Product Approval requests and smart sourcing initiatives for Singapore where appropriate.
• Assist in the fulfillment of local regulatory information requests from MAS and CAD, or within regulatory inspections.
• Assist in the Suspicious Transaction Reporting process to investigate AML Transaction Monitoring and other alerts including hits against the payment filter and ensure suspicious transactions in Singapore are reported to the authorities and appropriately logged.
• Providing or assisting the provision of training on local regulatory requirements and internal policies, along with producing training materials.

Your skills and experience:

• 6+ years’ experience AML practitioner with holistic AML / Financial Crime knowledge and skills
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience/exposure in private banking/high networth segments
• Prior related experience in fronting stakeholders for discussions
• Work experience in a regulator or financial institution
• Degree qualified
• Relevant AML or related certifications (CAMS, CFE, IntDipAML)
• Understanding one or more of the business areas of investment banking, corporate banking, trade finance, asset management and/or private bank, and risk profile of each category.

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide fundamental support in all aspects of client service, client relationship building and account maintenance to assist the business activities of Relationship Managers
• Respond to client inquiries on account documentation, account activity, statement information, securities transfers, general private banking product and/or service information
• Liaison with Clients, Business Supports and Service Providers to ensure timely transaction processing and service delivery of clients’ requirements
• Assist in client on/off boarding pre-checks/processes and all account reviews
• Ensure the operational processes are performed in compliance with the bank's policy and regulatory requirements
• Receive, execute and report order for equities, foreign exchange, structured and fixed-income products in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide secretarial and administrative support
• Handle logistics for business trips and meetings
• Any other job duties which the supervisor may delegate from time to time

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma preferably in Business / Finance
• Minimum 3 years of experiences in private banking with an investment/global bank
• Fluent in English and Thai in order to communicate and support clients from Thailand
• Qualifications in CACS paper 1 & 2 will be advantageous
• Meticulous and ability to multi-task
• Organised team player with good understanding of financial products and services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
