Job Descriptions

• Manage and coordinate the project efficiently and effectively for the road and rail viaduct/bridge using the Balanced Cantilever method (BCM), Span by Span (SBS) method or/and any other methods
• Lead, oversee, manage, supervise and direct site staff and sub-contractors to execute the project in accordance with the design specifications/drawings, approve work methods, meet authorities’ requirements, and ensure on-time completion of the project
• Establish the quality management system, safety and risk management, time management, and cost planning for the construction activities
• Coordinate, take corrective actions, monitor the action taken, and update our client regularly
• Identify and address any site/project issues when it arises
• Liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities to ensure proper coordination
• Oversee the planning and construction of the project, monitor the work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work program
• Provide guidance to the project team in relation to construction works to ensure progress is according to the schedule and maintain quality standard

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer
• Minimum 15 years of civil engineering infrastructure project experience with 10 years of road or rail viaduct/bridge structural engineering design experience in Singapore
• Experience in managing LTA projects with project values above $80 millions
• Strong leadership qualities with good analytical and communication skills

The remuneration package shall be commensurate with relevant project experiences, proven track records and professional skills.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide support, education and training to staff to build policy compliance and internal control awareness within the organisation;
2. Conduct sharing regarding best practices and promote financial management to various stakeholders across the organisation;
3. Conduct analytical review of financial information and reports, or other indicators to ensure they are functioning as planned and in accordance with sound business principles;
4. Plan and carry out the internal reviews, evaluate existing policies and processes and propose recommendations for improving of the organisation’s operations;
5. Prepare reports and recommendations to management to mitigate risk and add value;
6. Monitor the remediation efforts by following up with responsible action parties; and
7. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

1. BA in Accounting/ Finance, Business Administration, Economics, equivalent academic or professional training;
2. 5 years’ experience including external audit and internal audit, with experience in Big 4 firm preferred;
3. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Desirable to have knowledge of SAP and working experience of using Data Analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Python, etc.);
4. Excellent written and oral communications skills, including the ability to make presentation; and

PROFESSIONAL LICENCE

Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Financial Analyst or equivalent preferred

• Perform quality control checks and generate QA reports for incoming and outgoing products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards in accordance to SFA's regulations

• Provide technical and quality related assistance to other departments when required

• Perform regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their quality so as to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for improvement

• Compile QA report related documents

• Assist to maintain, source and purchase QA equipment and consumables when required

• Assist in product development or product improvement evaluation preparations when required

• Assist central kitchen or other departments with product specification, certification and quality related document requests

• Assist in tasks as and when required by superior/management

• Able to manage and complete ISO requirement

Handling physical goods receiving, issue, packing, dispatching and fulfill delivery schedules, conduct physical stock check, maintain high standard of cleaniness. Provide support on duties relating to logistics and inventory management.
