Job Requirement

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with minimum 3 years of structural engineering experience.
• Good knowledge of the various engineering design software, for instance Autocad, BIM
• Experienced in LTA projects would be advantage.

Primary Role

Responsible for advanced Planning, designing, integrating, installation, rigging and lifting equipment, including management of contractors and vendors

Responsible for supervising and assessing the set-up of all project components, manage all aspects of an engineering project, prepare schedules, communicate with clients, project progress.

Key Activities

1. Oversee and regularly review engineering processes and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity
2. Develop plans for new engineering initiatives, including investigating new technologies and developing plans for new project implementations
3. Required to be analytical and precise, to explore alternative solutions and analyze feasibility of plans
4. Work independently and to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement new processes and technology, to offer innovative solutions to customers
5. Design, communicate and implement an operational plan, create and maintain cost estimates for projects and programs
6. Identify, develop, and gather the resources necessary to complete the project. This may include preparing engineering standards, designs, and work specifications
7. Developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, and external contractors
8. Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (engineering, design, drafting, technical) to secure specialize resources and contributions for the project
9. Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
10. Set priorities, allocate tasks, and to meet project targets and milestones, ensure smooth authority submission
11. Solve technical issues such as drawing discrepancies, site condition changes, verify plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy, raise RFI when necessary
12. Ensure accuracy of setting out, levelling and site surveying and all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
13. Liaising with project consultants, architect, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
14. Support Project manager to liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
15. Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
16. Overseeing quality control and assist safety department to achieve health and safety target on site
17. Preparing method statement, daily weekly and monthly report
18. Ensuring all site inspection and record as per client/developer requirement
19. Ensuring all testing and quantity inspection are carried out as per contract requirement
20. Analyze and resolve engineering problems and demonstrate effective skills in oral and written communication

Requirements

Min 3 years experiences in civil, infrastructure projects

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, PE board recognized
