Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to lead and oversee the strategic management and optimization of our HRIS platform. This role is responsible for ensuring that the system effectively supports HR operations and enhances the employee experience by streamlining HR processes, improving data accuracy, and providing actionable insights. The HRIS Manager will work closely with the HR team, IT, and other departments to implement system enhancements and ensure compliance with data management and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
HRIS Management & Optimization
· Lead the administration and ongoing optimization of the HRIS (e.g., Workday / SAP / SuccessFactors / PeopleSoft, etc.), ensuring its alignment with business objectives and HR needs.
· Manage system configurations, updates, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure the platform is operating efficiently and effectively.
· Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify process improvements and system enhancements.
· Oversee data migration and set algorithms in the system to ensure accurate and efficient data handling.
Data Management & Reporting
· Oversee HR data integrity, ensuring information is accurate and up to date within the system.
· Generate and analyze reports and dashboards to provide HR leadership with actionable insights for decision-making.
· Develop and manage standard operating procedures for data management and HRIS-related processes.
System Implementation & Upgrades
· Lead or support the implementation of new HRIS functionalities or the integration of new modules, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to HR operations.
· Coordinate with IT, external vendors to support deployment and maintenance of HRIS features.
· Manage system rollouts, including the creation and delivery of communication decks to ensure proper stakeholder engagement and understanding.
User Support & Training
· Provide HR staff and end-users with training and support on HRIS system functionalities, including self-service portals, reporting tools, and new features.
· Primary point of contact for system-related issues, troubleshooting, and user inquiries.
Compliance & Security
· Ensure that HRIS practices and processes comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational data security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PDPA etc.).
· Monitor and manage access controls, permissions, and security settings to safeguard sensitive employee data.
Project Management
· Manage and prioritize multiple HRIS-related projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with organizational goals.
· Act as the project manager for HRIS system upgrades, new feature implementations, and cross-functional initiatives.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
· Work closely with HR leadership to ensure HRIS capabilities align with the department’s strategic goals and evolving needs.
· Stay up to date with HRIS trends, tools, and technologies, and propose solutions to optimize HR operations and employee experience.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum of 8 years of experience working with HRIS systems, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
· Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Workday / SAP SuccessFactors / Oracle / PeopleSoft).
· Must have system migration and/or implementation experience.
· Strong understanding of HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, performance management, and talent development.

· Experience in HRIS data management, including data integrity, system configurations, and reporting.
· Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

· Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices related to HRIS management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
