RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial management and supervision

Asia-Pacific Corporate Banking Department, Project Finance - Power & Infrastructure ("PF P&I")

We are now seeking an experienced professional to join the team.

Our PF – Power & Infrastructure is responsible for the project finance business in Asia, excluding Japan. There are four sections in PF, namely Power & Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Agency and Credit. This position reports to the Head of Power & Infrastructure.

Your key roles & responsibilities include:

· Initiating Project Finance marketing activities in the Asia Pacific region

· Providing lead in financial advisory and major debt arrangements

Job Purpose

This is a role in SMBC’s Private Wealth Group and it includes supporting the establishment of credit and risk policies and responsibility for private wealth related credit products including structured lending (single stock financing), Lombard lending, mortgage lending and insurance related lending. The role will entail write up of credit proposals , working with the head of credit solutions to establishing the framework for such credit products including Loan-to-value (LTV) and exposure management on various types of collateral and monitoring of the credit exposures. Requirements

• 10 + years cash management, transactional FX sales and/or corporate banking relationship management experience with top tier international multinational corporates.
• Proven track record in managing complex regional cash management deals in Asia Pacific with the ability to formulate and deliver sophisticated advisory and/or bespoke solutions to clients.
• Possess strong knowledge of treasury trends amongst multinational corporates as well as a keen understanding of the geopolitical and regulatory landscape, and macroeconomic trends across Asia Pacific.
• Good understanding of accounting practices and organizational best practices.

Objectives:

As a member of PPIS’s dynamic Senior Management Team, the director’s main role is to devise and implement an effective plan to communicate and market the vision, mission and strategic goals of PPIS to both the internal and external audience.

In this pivotal role, you'll be the mastermind behind:

• Guiding our financial health: Overseeing budgets, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Financial Management and Control (50%):
