Overview of the role

You will be accountable for business planning and commercial design finance for the region focused on Asia Pacific Enterprise Markets, Middle East and Africa in Home Care business. You will take a lead to design mid / long term home care business strategy and financial glidepath by collaborating with multi-functional team. You will manage short-term financial result delivery and financial reporting by providing explanation of variances and key performance drivers and consolidation of business results to senior management. You will own initiative financial design including new product design with innovation, pricing strategy, and promotion strategy. • Support new initiatives by the Business providing guidance from a risk perspective. Involvement where appropriate in the development of credit and policy guidelines and participation and support on assigned projects including contribution to change initiatives to drive efficiencies.
• Involvement in various initiatives and projects including change of policies, procedures liaising with relevant stakeholders in the Region and also in Tokyo Head Office.

Job Requirements:

• At least 12 years of corporate credit experience within the banking/financial institution industry.
• Experience in the analysis and documentation of taditional lending, trade finance, structured transactions and traded products, including derivatives and securities financing transactions.
• Experience in risk analysis and formulating recommendations on credit proposals across a broad range of client types, including corporates, across a number of jurisdictions in Asia and/or Oceania.
• Experience in assessing M&A and leveraged finance will be viewed favourably, as well as experience in dealing with deteriorating and/or impaired loans.
• Good understanding of different sector risk dynamics, drivers and fundamentals, with an ability to apply this in the analysis of counterparty success factors and business and financial risks.
• Strong track record of working closely with Business partners, building trust and adding value by providing clear and early advice on risk appetite, due diligence requirements and structuring, and finding solutions to risk issues.
• Track record of providing a contribution beyond business as usual credit risk management, including around credit portfolio reporting, deep dive analysis, contribution to policy, ideas for improvement, special projects, etc.

• Handle, check or approve the transaction administration: the securities settlement, custodian arrangement
• Handle, check or approve internal control sheets or execution slips related to regular transaction administration; oversee the BAU matters related to execution / ongoing transaction management
• Review transaction documentation on the pre-closing, and monitor its adherence on the post-closing for securitization and structured credit transactions, by working closely with the clients and transaction counterparties (e.g. legal counsel, accounting firm, trustee, custodian, securities clearing house)
• Regular reporting on compliance, account closing, audit or internal control required for the department. Ensure the corresponding procedures are complying with the internal rules and external regulations
• Propose improvement plan to streamline the group’s business procedure, in order to raise its effectiveness and efficiency for business developmen

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in transaction administration
