Job description (JD) of our company account staff as below:

※ Accounting (Main Work scope)

▶ Basic knowledge of accounting (Preference experience in the construction sector)

▶ Preparation and management the payment voucher

- Requesting and receiving to transaction company invoice

- Entering account code, numbering etc on Payment voucher

- Scan and sending to HQ (Korea) the payment voucher

▶ Management the transaction accounts

- Manage (confirm to bank) of the account everyday

- Entering the payment voucher data on the account

- Separation GST etc.

▶ Quarterly GST filling support

▶ Keeping the hardcopy and softcopy of all account data and documents (Payment voucher, Invoice, Transaction data etc.)

- Submitting the softcopy to branch office manager monthly

- Submitting the hardcopy and softcopy to transaction account company

▶ Supporting the audit report (Audit Report will prepare the outsourcing company)

▶ Cooperating with Head Quarter from time to time

※ Other Job (Supporting Work scope)

▶ Performed general clerical duties which include preparing documents and filing

▶ Supporting the Branch office representative (Korea person)

▶ Manage and maintain fixed costs

▶ Provide general support to visitor from HQ

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an organized, efficient Accounting Assistant with an eye for detail and high level of accuracy. Accounting assistant can expect to handle communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments, assist with inventory, database, and record maintenance, prepare financial reports, issue checks and making deposits, and generally ensure that the office operations are running smoothly. You should be professional and courteous with strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts receivables

· Daily monitoring of collections from all sources, communicate to reservation team member on timely manner to ensure it is correctly and timely Registered in reservation system.

· Bill the sales orders after verifying with the report download from reservation system and ensure sales invoices are all closed.

· Register on-board sales, if any.

Accounts payable

· Prepare PO.

· Register all invoices on timely basis to correct account and maintain accounts payable listing with due dates.

· Prepare payments as per due date through online banking based on the due date on a weekly basis.

· Register the payments into accounting system.

· Email payment voucher to respective suppliers.

Cash management.

· Petty cash management.

· Prepare weekly cash/bank position.

· Support the preparation of monthly cash flow forecast.

Month end closing tasks.

· Monthly reconcile all of Bank and payment gateway accounts and register bank interest and bank charges at the month end.

· Register month end Journal entries for accrual, depreciation, and prepayments.

· Register intercompany Journal entries on timely manner and co-ordinate with subsidiaries to register the corresponding intercompany entries.

· Assist in Intercompany reconciliation at the end of the month.

Others

· Communicate with subsidiaries, banks and suppliers when needed.

· Ensure proper and timely filing of the documents.

· Visit bank if needed.

· Any other adhoc admin duties as required by supervisors/managers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions of subsidiaries.
• Perform month-end closing activities which include general ledger, posting of journals, inventories count reconciliation, balance sheet schedule and fixed assets schedule.
• Assist in GST/VAT report submission and bank reconciliation.
• Preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.
• Oversee and provide guidance to accounting team in operational financial matters.
• Participate in system enhancements/implementations.
• Support the necessary overseas expansion finance requirement, if needed
• Involve in ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accounting or relevant Professional Accounting Qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in this role.
• Experience in using Microsoft Business Central system/NAVISION is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot table, VLOOKUP, Macros is an advantage).
• Experience with audit background and/or F&B and handling overseas accounts is an advantage.
• Ability to work with people in different levels of the organization.
• Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least Diploma or LCCI/ Degree in Accountancy / ACCA Level 2 or equivalent

· At least 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in full sets of accounts

· Prefer experience in Xero accounting software.

· Positive attitude

· Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin

· Able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment

Key responsibilities

• Handle month end closing and preparation of management accounts, including month end reports for management and head office and supporting schedules
