We are looking to hire a Regional Controller to join our APAC Regional Finance team! 
Based in Singapore, you will assist in growing our finance capabilities to steer the organisation in the right direction ensuring compliance with accounting, regulatory and tax requirements. The Role

Aligning with the role of PFS Risk division, “Analytics Support & Decision Management Solution” team has been set up to execute the initiatives to

(1) equip PFS Risk team members with the right tools, e.g. analytics tool, data, infrastructure, and

(2) support the enabling of analytics to the users within Group Retail segment.

The Bank implemented the Decision Management Solution (“DMS”), for Singapore and progressive roll-out for regional subsidiaries (Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia).

In this role, the DMS Functional Specialist will develop the rules configuration & framework, for both the Business As Usual (BAU) quarterly policy changes, scorecard project changes and guide Implementation Projects on DMS solution for both Singapore and the subsidiaries.

Main areas for this role include followings

1. Rules Deployment: Execution of rules deployment (from analysis of Change Requests, execute changes (configuration), test planning and test execution).
2. Rules Development & Framework: Manage the design & development of the DMS rules framework and codes, used for both Singapore and regional subsidiaries
3. Manage the ‘DMS change prioritization forum’. As the solution is meant to support various types of rules (e.g. business rules, credit / overlay rules, and scorecard rules), there will be multiple stakeholders, with different requirements and urgency.Facilitate the prioritization forum (e.g. co-ordinate with the stakeholders and prepare discussion materials).

Solution Governor: This role also acts as a ‘governor’ of the DMS solution – handling administrative aspect (e.g. set up and manage solution governance framework), system custodian functions and enhancements to the solution (e.g. change to the data platform, version upgrade). The DMS team act as a bridge between users (both Group Retail users and PFS Risk team members) and IT team, and be a first line of contact for the DMS users.

The role is based in Singapore and will report to the DMS Team who in turn reports to the Head of Analytical Support (Group PFS Risk).

The DMS team will have regional responsibility – as a main anchor point of the DMS solution for the region (Singapore and across BANKS overseas subsidiaries in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam), working closely with the in-country teams, under framework/ governor guidance of this DMS Team lead role.

Responsibilities

Strategy

· Provide leadership on all financial control/accounting approaches and operational affairs of SCV and its associated businesses and investments. This requires delivery of strong financial accounting discipline, direction setting, and process management across SCV entities globally.

· Co-ordinate and oversee the month-end process, and financial statement preparation of all operationalised SCV business entities and investments. This involves but is not limited to, oversight of venture monthly performance and control reports, technical accounting requirements, operational booking model oversight, financial regulatory requirements, management of third-party vendors and financial systems utilised for ventures and audit requirements.

· The role is expected to ensure financial control over all digital ventures is established and robust. This will involve setting up new financial systems with third party providers and financial systems and integrating these in accordance with Group requirements as well as ensuring accurate and timely information reporting to SCB Group and related stakeholders is provided.

Our client is a global leader in Oil & Gas, Marine Offshore Engineering. Due to fast expansion, they are actively seeking for Material Controller.

Responsibilities

• In charge of piping materials (including bolt/nuts) & paints
• In charge of storage D&E storage facility stock checking
• Handles FIM from client and DM purchased bolts and nut and painting materials
• Receive, check, stamp (DO), record, store and issue of materials/equipment/component /assembly consumables
• Pre-inspect materials or packing condition prior to offloading to the designated location
• To witness the crates and box opening in the presence of vendors and/or client
• Issue items as per approved request forms
• Prepare and review FIM, Piping and Bolt & Nut material update in IMS, JDE and share drive file
• Ensure Piping and Bolt & Nut material stock count is updated and participate in year-end Company audit

Requirement

• Diploma in Material Control or equivalent qualification
• Min 2- 5 years of relevent working experience in Marine shipyard in warehouse management or equivalent
• Knowledge on Structural, Piping, E&I and Mechanical materials

Advantage

• Processes valid Lifting Supervisor certificate
• Knowledge in JD Edwards, SAP or other similar enterprise software

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse financial statements and data to evaluate the credit worthiness of corporate clients.
• Advice business on credit risk management and policies.
• Design and propose credit strategies that are in line with internal credit policies.
• Monitor credit portfolio to identify and mitigate risk.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant degree with at least 5 years of Credit risk management experience within the Corporate Banking space.
• Good knowledge of Corporate Lending.
• Able to work well in a team and comfortable to provide guidance to junior members of the team when needed.
• Knowledge of project finance transactions will be a plus.
